A few more from a fantastic trip.

Lucky you, we met quite a few Americans who have made Costa Rica their home.
Before my trip to Costa Rica last month I had never seen a hummingbird in the wild...now I've now seen and chased loads of them!
Taken with my new Canon 80D and 100-400 MKII, many people think I used a flash but I didn't, it was very sunny. It's been cropped to remove the red and yellow plastic feeder.
Thanks...more luck than judgment
Recently bought the Canon 100-400 Mk II, then found my 600D wasn't man enough so then bought the 80D!
My previous longest lens was 200mm so I am now learning how to use the new combo.
A grab shot on the river Wharfe in Yorkshire, a gull has just pulled out a Signal Crayfish for lunch.
I have just finished a little processing this Dahlia that was one of bunch on the dining table.
Just a bit of crop and colour, light balance and sharpening.
I really like the zigzag leading line in the sky and it's reflection in the water.
I love number 6 and if you don't mind me saying there is a wonderful image when cropped to about 100% with just the green crops and the hills in the back.
I had an issue with my 600D and the 24-105L where the lens focused short, I sent the camera and lens to a Canon approved repair shop who tuned the the lens with the camera.
I have several other lens and this is the only one that had a problem.
The lens is my walk-about and was worth doing.
Thanks to you all.
I have been very pleased with the Canon 100mm macro, it's not the L lens, but as I only use it for macro and mostly on a tripod it's been great.
This was my first day of ever using HSS. What I initially was trying to do was freeze the wings.
I tried longer shutter durations, but I got too much movement from the whole insect.
For macro work with this lens, I am stuck with f/8 if I want to maintain image quality.
It was bright sunny day, but with f/8 at 1/4000-sec, it makes very little difference.
I had a cheap eBay diffuser cap on the flash, which was mounted on the camera hot shoe (I need to get a lead so I can HSS off camera). I then tried some hand held shots. If I can nail the focus, then HSS eliminates camera shake!
I will post an example with same settings but no tripod.
