This is why I use Paintshop pro
I have seen images of photos taken with this brand of filter here. I cannot remember the name.
As a Canon user I would still say the Nikon D5300 is a great choice.
I do mostly nature photography. I post mostly on Georgia Nature Photographer Association page.
This is at a water treatment impoundment in Clayton County Ga. The number of birds ranges from a few to hundreds of ducks. Recently there have been almost 100 great egrets. Today there were several Great Blue Herons, a few shore birds and about 20 Egrets.
Stunning photo. Her facial expression in the first photo is compelling.
Not necessary, in fact, it is unwarranted.
Thank you for your kind comments.
I took this in Colorado last week.
Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 Aluminium 3-Section Tripod with Horizontal Column (Black) $249.00. Add on a ball head (I use a vanguard pro 100 and you are just over your limit, maybe at $350.
I also have the Nest Gimbal and find it a valuable addition to my photographic arsenal. It is light to carry with smooth even motion. I get the shots I used to miss.
How are you comparing his photos to yours? His screen on the phone is many times better than the screen on your camera. When viewed on the phone the phone pictures do look great. When I print the photos I took with my camera and compare them to the same shot I take with the phone there is no comparison. When I put the photos on my TV I again can tell the difference easily. The camera shot is always much better. As for buying a better camera, the camera you have is more capable than you are right now. That was not meant as an insult but that is a good camera.
I only get to see my daughter and granddaughters about 4 times a year (a week each time). This trip the oldest is almost four and has received her first camera. Her mother got it for her when my granddaughter saw it and said she wanted it so she could take bird pictures with her popo. I can't wait to play photographer with her.
Thank you all for the comments. I am glad it is the age of digital. Next I will have to go through tray of slides.
