As there has been adverse comments about the more mature ladies and the age related issues of those particular ladies bodied, could we not split this section into two, say under 50 and over 50's

Personally I prefer to shoot those who have travelled the battle of time, wrinkles, scars, weight and sagging parts

That is the story after all of life itself

I too feel it's not necessary.
Other than Billy showing off his ignorance and inhibitions, I see no reason to celebrate the human body differently just because age is involved or there is one pest in the peanut gallery!
Then how do you decide what goes into which catagory without sending everything to Billy first for permission!!!

Not necessary, in fact, it is unwarranted.

That would be as arbitrary as dividing it up by weight.

Yes, this gets back to photographers having enough sense to criticize the photographer and his technique rather than the model (who has no control over the image whatsoever.) So...no age rules other than "legal".

as is often the case, I absolutely concur with SS.. There is no need to split the section. In fact, that would almost be absurd. RJM

Oh SS you know so little about me but still cannot control ya mouth! I am ignorant about shooting nude women and admit that I have never done it. Inhibitions are an unknown to me my man. Its a simple fact that unless one has some pervy inclination is it not a fact of life that young women look a damn site better than some old wrinkly who is not far off pension age? There is something rather unpleasant here with old guys wanting to ogle them. Oh yea silly me its about the lighting and bringing out their inner self and generally celebrating the human body isn't it? But strange that its only women's bodies we wish to celebrate? To those lucky enough to have a mother still alive how would you feel if Mom got her kit off for some old guy with a Canik and his tongue hanging out. Why the old gals do it unless its for money is beyond me. They look a mess Im afraid and why you guys cannot see that I find strange.
I'm married to an Asian woman who is in her 50's who has never given birth. She has the body of a very slim thirty year old but would never now consider getting naked for public consumption. 30 years ago she may have been proud to pose but not for the pervy old gits that hang around this forum.
Before you ask I come here regularly for a damn good belly laugh. The laughs actually come more from the comments than the granny prancing around a dancing pole so you carry on perving and Ill carry on laughing.

The only reason for complaints like Billy's is because he is coming here for prurient reasons rather than the celebration of the photography.

Sick, flat out SICK.

I'm sorry but Billy has a point. Photos of women (regardless of age) with salacious grins posing by the stripper pole or with the handcuffs will have a difficult time passing for art. And if you're going for the centerfold look, you're going to need lighting, makeup, hair, PP, etc. And you'll need these things regardless of age if Playboy type photos are your bag.

Old models are fine but we must respect everyone, including ourselves. Show your skill by using poses, lighting and preparation that will make an image that compliments the model, the human form and makes us think. No need to separate by age or any other criteria.
