I am really excited about my next trip.
I only get to see my daughter and granddaughters about 4 times a year (a week each time). This trip the oldest is almost four and has received her first camera. Her mother got it for her when my granddaughter saw it and said she wanted it so she could take bird pictures with her popo. I can't wait to play photographer with her.
What a fabulous time you will have. She's at a great age to learn. Hope you will post some of her photos here. Have a great trip.
That is very touching and wonderful. It could well be the beginning of a life long passion for her!

My granddaughter, now eight, has a camera phone and (more than once in a while) her photo's rival my Nikon and Sony gear.
Has she asked about what lenses to get? :D

How wonderful! This will be a very special time for you both. Hopefully it will start a very special relationship with her that will last forever. What a Blessing for you both.
My grandfather used to take me for walks in the parks and point out all the different birds and identified them by their color, song and behavior. That started my love of birds and other wildlife and long walks in parks.
I did the same with my grandson and we still go for walks together in various parks...and he is now 30 years old.
