Anybody own a Ricoh camera? If so, what do you think? They bought Pentax from Hoya. I am now worried about the quality of Pentax products. Had a heck of a time getting a Pentax lens repaired because of the back order of parts. Thanks in advance for opinions.

Hello fellow Hedgehogs,
I'm looking for a little advice. I'm thinking of starting a new system and was wondering what you think would suit my needs best. Considering the Canon 7D, 70D, or the Nikon 7100. My primary subjects are my children's athletic events. I need a camera that is good in the low light of night soccer games and indoor basketball games. I have been a Minolta/Sony user for years, however my 70-200 f2.8 lens broke and as an option I am considering the switch. Any Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Looking for some help here. I shoot mostly landscape and waterfalls. I'm looking for a wide angle lens for my 60D. I keep seeing the fish eye lens. Could someone give me some feedback about them and are the good for what I shoot.

Thanks

Greetings!

I am donating a framed photo print to a charity silent auction. I want to describe the print in its best terms (limited edition, archival quality matting, etc). The one term I'm hung up on is "Giclee". I know the term roughly refers to "spray" but would like some opinions.

I produce the enlargement on a Canon Pro 9000 Mark II printer which uses 8 inkjet color cartridges. I am using Canon's Pro Platinum paper. The combination promises no fading for 100-plus years. So... Do y'all think it would be appropriate to refer to this as a "Limited Edition giclee print framed and matted with acid-free archival quality products".

I am certain of everything in that description with the exception of the "giclee" reference. Opinions? Thanks team!

In my Not So Humble Opinion HDR is terrible others think it's the best thing that has came along since sliced bread. One time many on the Hog got on a photographer for asking a beginners question because his prints were so good and he was selling them. Turned out he was shooting all on auto he just had a good eye. I User a Eye-fi Card and a Samsung 10.1 tablet to look at my Photos in the field but not to edit.

As stated "I'm looking for a tablet with a Photoshop application to take on location when shooting sports."

Basically I'm searching for a device smaller than my
laptops to review sports photos on site and edit as needed. Just minor editing such as cropping, brightness, and contrast. I'd like to use PS Elements since it's what I've been using at home.
