I bought all my camera gear from Amazon or B&H and have always had excellent results with both.

I'm considering an upgrade and I was wondering what kind of experience have you had if you used Adorama. I've heard both good and bad, as we usually do, but just thought I'd ask for feedback - all is welcome.

Thanks, Jim

Well jimma, what more could you ask for? Helen monitors this board for Adorama and Hershel for B&H

Adorama is tops. I love B&H and Adorama both but Adorama seems to ship faster and ships free for more items so I tend to choose them.

But both are good.

Not to mention a stellar return policy. (B&H too)

You cannot go wrong with either.

I have bought a LOT from Adorama, but had no end of trouble getting them to credit all of my purchases to my VIP account. One PM to Helen and over $6000 of invoices got added right away!
Thanks Helen!

I have used them once.
About a month ago for a lens purchase.
I live in Australia.
Order acknowledgement was about 4 days, delivery was about 5 days.
I would willingly use them again.

I very recently bought a used Canon T3i from B&H. It was rated by them as 9+. It looks NEW except for a few scratches around the tripod socket. After receiving it and trying it out I decided to see what they would give me for my 40D body. They sent me an estimate of $129 so I sent it off to them with a couple extra batteries and a memory card. Yesterday I received an Email saying there is a check in the mail for $140. I had bought the used 40D body from a photographer that I know, for $150! I am impressed that they would actually raise their offer after seeing the camera!

I find them very honest and easy to deal with.

Adorama and B&H are usually where I tend to buy most things unless for some reason its listed cheaper on amazon (rarely happens).

Ive had good experiences buying both used and new retail camera gear from Adorama.

Thanks Helen, so noted.

My interest is in trading in a buying. I'm just wondering if I can get a better trade in deal from you folks as opposed to Amazon or B&H.

I don't want to go on line for a quote because that means a phone call and then a discussion rather than just a quote.

Thanks, Jim
