I have put the camera on all settings, even auto, and I still see the jiggling hand and 'T'. When I look thru the monitor, the picture seems okay. Want to use this camera for travelling and do want to get good images. Tks. LR
Decided to take some images with the little Canon but in the bottom right hand corner of the monitor there is an icon that shows a camera shake hand and also the letter 'T'.
Does anyone know what the 'T' means? Can't find the info. in the manual.
Thanks

No, we don't live there. We are from Canada and like hiking in different places. We heard that there will be a lot of photo opportunities in the Cotswolds. There were lots in the Lake District. I will be carrying a back pack as well as the bigger camera.

Are you saying that the Tamron and Canon lenses are lighter but not very good?
LR
We will be leaving for the UK in 1 1/2 weeks. As this is a month long hiking trip in the Cotswolds, I am planning on taking my T4i with Sigma 18 - 200 lens. Someone told me that there are other lenses that are lighter (Canon and Tamron). Does anyone know if the weight difference is significant?
Tks.

WOW!!!!
I just got a Canon T4i, a 27" iMac and PSE11. How do you do infrared in B & W?
Just loved all the pictures. Are there ant tutorials to check out.
Thanks

My son has just switched careers from IT to HD specialist mechanic. Just sent images to him as I know he would appreciate them. Thanks.

Great web site. My power shot always fails when x/c skiing in minus temps., so it looks like the waterproof camera would work in those situations as well.

Thanks - great web site!!

So sorry your days of playing in the water are over. Thanks for writing.

We will be going on a kayak trip to the west coast of Vancouver Island (British Columbia) in July where we will encounter open water. What camera should I take? I am used to Canon and would like to stay with that brand if possible.
Thanks

I just got my new 27" iMac and love it. Before picking it up I took my PC tower to the Apple store and the Genius people transferred everything - part of their service. Now all my PSE 11 stuff is right at my finger tips.
It was a challenge transferring pictures from my Android and it took a day to figure that out - Mac's don't like Androids. This has been a steep learning curve for me - still trying to get comfortable with my T4i.

....just picked up my iMac yesterday (27). Always used a PC. Hyperventilated in front of it for the first 2 hours, but now I find it is easy to get around on, and fast. Getting PSE 11 installed this afternoon and will hook up an Epson printer - recommended by Apple. Looking forward to post-processing with large screen.
Think everything came to $2700. That included an external hard drive and track pad, but will pick up a magic mouse today as I haven't been able to get used to the track pad.

Not sure about this one but would it be lighter than the Sigma. That is what I have and want to go 'lighter'.
