Hadn't read all the replays yet but I'll bet it's gonna be Bush's fault some how. If not it'll be because the Right wing won't go along with the lefy(ist) wing, game plan.

new taxes under Obamacare and the American Taxpayers Relief Act last year... now he wants more. There is no satisfying the insatiable appetite of the left and their politicians.

It is time for this country to wake up! The malaise that our economy is in large part due to Obamacare. Dems act as if this is all free, but it is not. The federal government not only is forcing American businesses to spend money on Obamacare which in reality is no different than a tax, but it serves Harry well that he does not recognize it as a tax and cries for more... Bottomline is that our government is out of control, the dems are pursuing a socialist agenda, it that is what the country wants then there will be no stopping it but make no mistake that is what the government is doing. They really don't care about small business or the employment environment in this country, they do care greatly about how much money and how large of a segment of our society they control...

What a sad ending for a country founded and built on the ideals of liberty and individual freedom to be destroyed by the notions of the collective.

We're giving them exactly what they want, sit back with a smile on their face. Just think if the people if Israel did that every time the y were threatened.

OK, this alert stuff this weekend might be real ... or, it might just be a diversion.

Seems to me that a smart terrorist will issue a threat, and then just sit back and wait. When the all-clear is finally issued, the terrorists can attack anytime they want, with no warning. Terrorist attacks aren't like warnings for hurricanes, tornadoes, and other weather events that come and go on a regular basis.

So, maybe the current administration is creating a diversion to get the attention off the "phony scandals" we're already involved with.

What do you think?

If it works so well why are the IRS employees so concerned about being required to have Obamacare. If the ones supposed to administer it doesn't want it, ought to make wonder what's wrong with it.

So many readers of this forum have believed Republican lies about ObamaCare that they will be surprised to learn it is working. It is already immense popular with those who have it. Republicans have been trying to kill it before it becomes fully operational, because that's when their worst nightmares will come true. It will be fully in effect.

Can you convincingly argue that the three basic premises of OabamaCare are bad ? I doubt it.

Paul Krugman has written a succinct piece about what Republicans fear the most -- that ObamaCare, modeled after Romney's Massachusetts health care plan, is growing more and more popular, is working well, and will soon become even much more popular as it comes fully into effect.

Thought it might be of some interest to you. But since you've read the entire Bible ( or from cover to cover as my grandmother use to say) and you've made up your mind, I guess not.

There's a lot in the Bible that is a good read, you're right. Many of the things written in the Bible are things that were lived and said thousands of years ago. Many of the things in the Bible are things that were said but not lived, too. Translations often add fine points of confusion. No translation is perfect. Many years ago I worked as a professional translator for the US Joint Publications Research Bureau, so I know.

I have been carrying a semi-auto pistol since 1983. Not only have I not killed anyone, I have never had to pull my pistol on anyone. Then why do I carry? Am I living in fear? NO. Am I a "cowboy"? NO. And NO to all the other stereotypical questions.
I hope I never have to use my pistol -- BUT I would rather carry my pistol and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Come on frank t, you make these comments as if a legal gun owner does not hate it when a child looses his/her life in such a tragic way. Nothing is further from the truth! We want the right to be able to defend our families or ourselves if need be. (By the way how do you intend to protect your family if someone enters your home to do them harm? But I never get an answer.)

I've asked before how many of these child deaths were caused by legally owned vs illegally owned guns before and was called cailus and cold natured. It's just a way to skirt around the questions.

It seems you forgot the part "shall not be infringed"' "shall not" makes it pretty clear.

How about the hundreds of laws we already have be enforced?

Perhaps that Vet actually read the second amendment. You know, the part about a well regulated militia?
Or maybe he knows what damage guns can actually do to the human body.
Or maybe he just hates to see children die.
If your debating point revolves around, we don't agree with you so we should leave the country you will be sadly disappointed.
We're not going away..
