Please add me to the Sony list. I am still new to DSLR and this forum, and recently purchased a Sony A57. Thank you.

I am also very new to this site and to digital SLR. I have learned so much from reading comments and posts. Don't worry about criticism from your photos as that is how you learn; from your mistakes. I only take photos in my spare time (usually on weekends), and made my first post of three that I took last week. This site has a lot of great people here that are very willing to help you become a better photographer. Thanks to everyone out there.

All are very nice but #2 and #3 are my favorite.

Thanks for looking. This is still a whole new learning process for me, and I hope to get a lot better.

Received a new camera for Christmas and has never played with manual settings before so this is my first attempt.
These were taken with my Sony A57. I used my 75-300mm zoom lens. Set the ISO to 3200 and F4.5. The day was bright but overcast.
I know these aren't the best of quality but not too bad for first time using manual settings. I was always used to the point and shoot cameras.
Looking for any type of feedback, and any type of suggestions to make the photos better.
I do not know too much about the camera settings yet but I do know I have an awful lot to learn.
