SONY SHOOTERS LIST.

Many have asked to be added to my Sony shooters list and then asked "Where is the list". Answer is it was my own Buddies list.
DPullum asked if I could share the list but I couldn't see how on the forum so I tried something and hope it works.
I copied the list and dropped it into MS Word. It seems to have worked (I hope). S here is the list.
I didn't realize there were so many of us.

I thought I was the only Sony owner for several months. Glad to know there are so many others.

I couldn't download the list, but I would like to be added. I was feeling like a step-child, but I like my A100 and I finally understand it. Don't want to begin the learning process all over again, just to join the Canon and Nikon bunch.
What a great concept to not continue as an orphan!
I would love to join with my Sony a580 kit lenses and macro 100, new tripod and hew heavy panhead. I was NIkon film shooter in remote past but could never get deep and serious. I am now determined!
A Sony forum would be so helpful. The Nikon, Canon and Leica have set a great example with terrific depth of knowledge. tips and surprisingly great humor and pics.
Certainly as Sony users grow a forum could be successful.
Perhaps the UHH administrators could help!

I thought I had asked to be on the list, but I'm not there so I must be wrong, which is a common condition of mine. Let me correct my error. Please add me to the Sony list as I am a proud A850 owner with assorted doodads, thingamabobs and a few lenses.

WalterII and unclebe1 you are both on my list now.
Unclebe1 you were on my list but I must have added you after I posted the list. I will rescan and try to produce an updated list for you.
It would be nice to have our own forum. I would like to know from Sony what their future intentions are with the Alpha line. Nikon and Canon have come out with their new generations of cameras (Nikon D4, D800 and Canon D5 Mark III) and Sony hasn't issued a word regarding a new Alpha to replace the A900, of course there have been rumors and speculations, but nothing definitive from Sony.

Hummm. I wonder how you found out I was a Sony user? I usually do not admit to being one. There are so many nuts out there that are so proud of their Nikons, etc. that I don't like to burst their bubble and let them find out that other cameras can also take good pictures. I mostly use my A900 and have huge selection of good lenses ranging from 12~600mm. I also use six Sony and Minolta flashes.
Sometime I feel like a Muslim at a Baptist convention. I just smile and agree with with everyone.
The Sony corporation is going through a rough time. I look forward to seeing what their next full frame will be. In the mean time I'm happy using my A900
I attached a photo of my longest lens (300mm f/2.8 w/ a 2X teleconverter attached to my A900. I also have a big flash attached to it. I some times take wild life photos out my windows this way.

I probaly picked you up for my list because in one of your posts you might have mentioned A900 or something similar of either Sony or Minolta and I jumped on it. They call me Hawkeye. :-D
Nice "G" I bet you get excellent results with that. Besides the A900 I have the A850, A700 and A77. The A77 is a great backup camera to the A900 except it is an APS-C so you need duplicate lens. I originally had the A700, then got the A900 and wanted a backup camera for the A900 so I got the A850, I still couldn't part with the A700 and when the A77 came out the lenses from the A700 were a perfect fit, and decided to keep all four cameras. I also have Nikon D2X and D7000 but the Sony cameras are my favorite cameras.
