George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue a family who was trapped in an overturned vehicle, police said today.
Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of Dana and Mark Gerstle and their two children, who were trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route Route 46, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.
By the time police arrived, two people - including Zimmerman - had already helped the family get out of the overturned car, the sheriff's office said. No one was reported to be injured.
Zimmerman was not a witness to the crash and left after speaking with the deputy, police said.
It's the first known sighting of Zimmerman since he left the courtroom following his controversial acquittal last week on murder charges for the death of Martin. Zimmerman, 29, shot and killed Martin, 17, in Sanford, Fla., on Feb. 26, 2012. The jury determined that Zimmerman shot Martin in self-defense.

It is actually very simple. I don't post a comment to argue back and forth. It is a vocal contribution to the thread. The statement I made is simple to comprehend. Any words that form part of my comment that you find unfamiliar or questionable are easy to confirm and research with a few strokes on the keyboard...

Emotion is controlled by the frontal lobe of the brain. Reasoning is located in the frontal lobe as well but many people struggle with it. Reasoning is often overcome by emotion...

Kevin Orr, a bankruptcy expert, was hired by the state in March to lead Detroit out of a fiscal free-fall and made the filing Thursday in federal bankruptcy court.
A number of factors most notably steep population and tax base falls have been blamed on Detroit's tumble toward insolvency.
Losing residents
Detroit lost a quarter-million residents between 2000 and 2010. A population that in the 1950s reached 1.8 million is struggling to stay above 700,000. Much of the middle-class and scores of businesses also have fled Detroit, taking their tax dollars with them.
Orr was unable to convince a host of creditors, the city's union and pension boards to take pennies on the dollar to help facilitate the city's massive financial restructuring.
He laid out his plans in June meetings with debt holders, in which his team warned there was a 50-50 chance of a bankruptcy filing.
Some creditors were asked to take about 10 cents on the dollar of what the city owed them. Underfunded pension claims would have received less than the 10 cents on the dollar under that plan.
A team of financial experts put together by Orr said that proposal was Detroit's one shot to permanently fix its fiscal problems.
If the bankruptcy filing is approved, city assets could be liquidated to satisfy demands for payment.
Detroit's budget deficit is believed to be more than $380 million. Orr has said long-term debt was more than $14 billion and could be between $17 billion and $20 billion.

Just so you have clear understanding. A Neighborhood watch is not "stalking". There is no requirement to hide.
Trayvon Martin escalated the observance to a confrontation. It went from neighborhood watch to self defense for George Zimmerman. The prosecution had no case...

You are exploiting your own facts. Not the facts found in the trial. Zimmerman never initiated "picked a fight". He was part of a Neighborhood Watch program. He is free to watch,(he does not need to hide) the comings and goings
