When I first opened Mopriphina and Elgin, I had to kind of chuckle a little bit. First thought that came to mind was Bonnie and Clyde. Then I went into the full gallery section and looked at all the pictures. A lot different than Bonnie and Clyde for sure. A lot of work went into these without a doubt and you can see the talent involved from both sides - you and the models. Very nice work and it's great to know you aren't stuck in just one mode of photographic art. Again, very nice work.

Very nice work Bobby. Do you have anyone else working with you - like with the lights or anything - when you take these shots? Besides the model of course. lol lol It's amazing how you can get the wall to meet the floor and there are no creases to be seen.

You know interestingly enough I have thousands of female fans of my work as well.

Anyone who truly appreciates photographic art, no matter what form, would appreciate this work.

Very nice. I set here and get thousands of ideas for poses but when I actually get the chance my brain freezes. lol lol Were these poses your ideas or was someone else instructing? I do like the lighting and who says photography isn't art? Beautiful work here.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I shot these with a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 on a Canon 5DIII. I used AV 4.5 at ISO 1600 in order to keep my shutter speed up. I like to be above 1/1000 if conditions permit. I use spot metering to avoid silhouetting, and avoid the motor drive in order to time my shots better. I'm often amused when shooting beside other photographers who use burst mode, because I sound like a muzzle loader shooting next to a machine gun. ;)

Thank you. I usually get a slight blur not thinking about upping my ISO. I use an XTi and a SX40 - the SX40 mostly and tried your settings - worked perfectly. We don't have rodeos here but this will come in handy with other moving objects. Again - thank you.

Again - simply fantastic work!!!!! Out of curiosity - what settings do you use to capture these without the blur?

OMG!!!! You are incredible getting these shots!!! I saw your earlier posting of the clown and bull too and I have to honestly say there is no "which one is better?" as all of your work is fantastic. What I think is so great is you have perfect timing with the shutter trigger. Your eye/hand coordination is superb!! Fantastic!!!! You definitely get a triple WOW!!!! lol lol

Hi and welcome. Do you have Picasa? It's a free program and very easy to use. I watermark mine with it using the Edwardian Script. I've attached a sample and the people I show and sell my work to love it.

I've used Picasa for about 10 years also - LOVE it!!!! and once you do a "save as" you can cancel everything you've done and still have the original photo and have the one you edited.
Example - your camera number is 1449 - when you "save as" list it as 1449a and you'll have the photos right next to each other. That works great for comparison.

Read the specs, it should say what the camera is. On a tablet in that price range, don't be expecting much. They are probably in the 2-3megapixel range. OK for email, maybe 4x6 prints and not much else.

Thanks for your input - made the most sense to me and I think I'll forget the tablet idea. Again - thanks.

I don't know if this has been brought up before or not - never needed to know until tonight. Was on NOMORERACK. com and saw a Google Android 1.6, 8.2gb, 9" tablet for $89. Had a front and rear camera. I saw one awhile ago but didn't really pay much attention to it other than the photo the person was taking and it looked nice. Question is - does anyone know how many megapixels a photo taken with a tablet is? I get 18x24 enlargements made with a lot of the photos I take with my SX40 and Xti - both are set on large which gives me a 4000x3000mp picture which gives me a perfect enlargement size. Does a tablet even come close to this?

To me it's impossible to pick which one would be the best as all 3 have great poses in their own rights. But......the first one keeps drawing me back to it. You did very good and you had really cooperative "models" there.

how big can I print a pic that is 4320 x 3240?

The pictures from my SX40 are 4000x3000 and I have 18x24 enlargements made from them. I also have them laminated which brings out the richness of detail and color and not grainy. If not laminated they have that flat look and kind of grainy. I do 8.5x11 with my hp printer from the same size and they print out beautiful.

I have to kind of chuckle every time I hear of your "Grand Canyon". We have one up here too in Letchworth State Park called the "Grand Canyon of the East". Makes me wonder how many other "Grand Canyons" there are. lol lol Anyhow - there's a wealth of info here and for the most part people are helpful and friendly.

Great set of pictures. Where was the printing done??

A company in Nashville, Tn does all my enlargements and laminating. I always get the 18x24s as their next size up is the 24x36 and they don't laminate those. In case you're wondering - lamination brings out and adds richness to the colors and details. Non-laminated the poster comes out kind of flat like. Another hint - if you send them a picture to be enlarged, download it from your camera into your computer, edit it how ever you want BUT DO NOT DOWNSIZE OR CHANGE THE PIXEL SIZE OF THE PICTURE. The smallest size I ever sent was 3388x2258. I've dealt with this company for a long time and have never had any problems with them. Their website address is www.shortrunposters.com
