I thought you might like to see these two traditional English pubs sitting in all their glory in the winter snow.
These two pubs are only 2 miles apart but in 2 separate villages.
My wife and I owned these 2 pubs up until 3 years ago when I retired due to health reasons and I sold the Merlins Cave (pic 1) and my daughter runs the other pub now The White Hart (pic 2).
They are in my opinion a typical winter scene in South Buckinghamshire, England.

Wonderful photography and lighting. They show the fur in a finite resolution so as to almost be 3d. Thanks! Any suggestions for me?

Thank you for the great comments, the only thing I can say is that I shoot with as big an aperture as possible to lower the depth of field which often leads to having a higher ISO and I always focus manually, it takes some getting used to but I mainly work with wildlife so get plenty of practice, happy shooting.

I had a wonderful day with this family of Snow Leopards at Marwell Wildlife near Winchester, UK.
The mother called Irina and her cubs Animesh (f) and Ajendra (m) are separated from their father whilst they are still so young, however they can see each other through a fence, the time is approaching when they will make contact for the first time.
Equipment used Nikon D7100, Sigma 150-500mm lens.

It goes without saying that these are perfect shots. My question is, how far away were you when you took these? Especially the one when shes got her mouth wide open. She's a beauty. Thanks for sharing

I was approximately 40-50 feet away from her and she was really well behaved.
Thanks for taking your time to look and comment.

I love these images. Number 3 is my favorite. He looks annoyed. 8-) I picture him saying "Are you still here? Don't you have something better to do than get in my face with this barrel looking contraption sticking out of your eye. Really, you look ridiculous dude." LOL That is my Snow Leopard thought of the day. These images are superb.

I have a Nikon D90 and I am looking to upgrade. How do you like the Nikon D7100?

I upgraded from the Nikon D3100 so any upgrade was going to work in my opinion, but I really love the D7100 (although still learning this camera), the sensor is just amazing and the options for focus, aperture and speed are superb.
I particularly enjoy the continuous shooting at 6 fps, although the processing time is a bit slow because I always shoot in RAW, but hey, thats my choice, but definately consider this camera for your upgrade.
Thanks for taking the time to look and comment.

I had a good day out at the Aspinall Wildlife Centre at Port Lympne, Kent, UK.
This centre specialises in the conservation and breeding and if possible relocation of rare animals and has an excellent reputation.
I had gone to take photos of the very rare Barbary Lions located there, however, I was extremely lucky as this little lady called Marta, a Snow Leopard kept me occupied for half an hour.

Nikon D7100, Sigma 150-500, F3.5-5.6 lens.

That no 1 shot is absolutely fabulous, the dark ominous clouds and the light on the smoke trails really make the shot, brilliant, well done,

My wife and I took a gentle stroll around our local park here in England and Autumn is certainly starting up, leaves are starting to fall and the trees are starting to change colour and of course the weather is all up and down, but its great.

Nice shot. You got Table Mountain with table cloth and Lion's Head.

I was up on top of Table Mountain when the "Tablecloth" started to appear, all very dramatic, but most nights in the November time were quite dramatic. Thanks for viewing and comments,
