I had a good day out at the Aspinall Wildlife Centre at Port Lympne, Kent, UK.
This centre specialises in the conservation and breeding and if possible relocation of rare animals and has an excellent reputation.
I had gone to take photos of the very rare Barbary Lions located there, however, I was extremely lucky as this little lady called Marta, a Snow Leopard kept me occupied for half an hour.

Nikon D7100, Sigma 150-500, F3.5-5.6 lens.

Garry, these are well done! Really nice portraiture and I'm so excited to see the snow leopard so up close and personal! Sharp, beautiful. And I love a sanctuary that works to help endangered animals and relocate those to keep them safe, yet wild. Thank you for sharing.

I love these images. Number 3 is my favorite. He looks annoyed. 8-) I picture him saying "Are you still here? Don't you have something better to do than get in my face with this barrel looking contraption sticking out of your eye. Really, you look ridiculous dude." LOL That is my Snow Leopard thought of the day. These images are superb.

I have a Nikon D90 and I am looking to upgrade. How do you like the Nikon D7100?

I envy you. The closest I was able to get was behind the bars (from a distance) in a circus.
