Thank you Brenda,
Problem solved, now back to taking a few shots using the different settings.
Cheers,
Graham.
I've just purchased a used D7100 but I'm having a focus issue my fellow hoggers might be able to help me with (fingers crossed).
I have the following lenses; AF-S NIKKOR 50mm 1:1.4 G and a SIGMA DC 17-70mm 1:2.8-4 MACRO HSM and a Nikon ED AF NIKKOR 80-200mm 1:2.8 D and when I try to use them on the D7100 I cant seem to set the auto focus like on my D7000?
I've read the manual but getting no where, using the AE-L/AF-L button to auto focus is fine but I would like to set the camera up to focus when I press the shutter release button just like on my D7000. This one is bugging me a little.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Welshman, Welcome, when I'm next in the area I'll message you I love North Wales.
Graham.
Thank you one and all for the advice. As a ON1 Photo 10 user and didn't want to purchase Elements 14 but its looking like I'll have to now, oh well.
I'll wait to see if I get any more help from Nikon or Adobe before going ahead and upgrading to PS14.
Thanks again folks.
I've just added a Nikon 1 J5 to my small collection and I'm having a problem opening the NEF files using Camera Raw 8.5 in Photoshop Elements 12, all I get is a pop up saying the camera is not recognised and yet its' shown on the list of compatible cameras??
My D7000 files open with out any problem; are any fellow hoggers having similar issues?
I've contacted both Nikon and Adobe but as yet have had no response from either.
Many thanks.
Here in the UK I find the quality, spot on. I've used them for several years without complaint.
Welcome to the world of UHH Fuzzyd.
I use Perfect Photo Suite 9 (PPS 9) and Elements 12 for all my pp.
I've never used Lightroom its always been PPS 9 for me.
Hi,
We (the wife and I) use them in the home and our shop, we find them great, no damage to the walls and you can chop and change the layout when you please. go ahead and try them you wont be sorry.
Cheers,
Graham.
Thank you Gene.
Best wishes,
Graham
Hi Wendy,
I presume you refer to the opacity when you refer to "gentle use"? I'll give it a go and thanks again.
Best wishes,
Graham.
Hi Wendy,
Don't under estimate you're work, you've done a great job, I'm impressed.
I hope you don't mind me asking but what program did you use and how did you achieve the results please?
I'm only playing at this at the moment and I'm keen to get a grip of it as I have loads of old photos I want to work on during my retirement.
Thanks again for a great job.
Best wishes,
Graham.
Hi Tommy,
I agree 100% with your comments. Here's what I've managed to do so far, I used "artistic licence" (who am I kidding) to rebuild what I could.
But like you said it's gonna take a long time sorting this out with so many features missing.
Thanks again Tommy.
Regards,
Graham.
Thanks Tommy,
I've rescanned it at a higher res and attached it here.
Cheers,
Graham
