They are full service in Oregon too, they have to run out there every time one of us californians try and pump our own gas

Yeah when I lived in WA state we pumped our own gas. When I visited Oregon I tried to get out to pump my gas and the attendant freaked out on me! No one warned me about " not pumping gas." it was pretty funny.

Thanks, I'll have to check out prices. 4th of July is sneaking up fast, and it would be nice to get some beach pics with fireworks :)

I love looking at firework photos, but I'm a little intimidated about taking them. I don't know where to start? Do I need special equipment?

all you need is a little post processing.. i was amazed to find out how a wider open lens changed the density.. figuring that the exposure equals out...

It was worth staying up after doing my night shoot just to beat Bushido.... so here are my night shots... it was the first time i used my tripod in about 5 years... but i still knew how to set it up... the biggest problem was focusing... had to use manual... i let the camera do the exposures... i did have one problem on my first shot .. i set the camera up and couldn't see the subject so i just shot... and after a really long time the camera shut off.. but i couldn't see the image either... after two more try's i realized that the lens cap was on... so i left the area with no street lights and drove 15 miles to town... sorry if i post too many. you won't hear much from me today.. i'm really tired.
It was worth staying up after doing my night shoot... (show quote)

Alligators and crocs scare me to death. Years ago a friend went to South Africa to visit family and when getting out of a boat a croc got her leg. It dragged her into the water, and drown her. I felt so bad for her family.
