In Brazil, all gas stations are full service. I think they don't trust the motorest, he would probably run off with out paying.

Why does he still have his shirt on?
Sorry, got my mood from a different forum.
They are full service in Oregon too, they have to run out there every time one of us californians try and pump our own gas

There is a full service station in a little town I work in. The trouble is the guy smokes a cigarette while pumping your gas. I have to be desperate to go there, or wait until he is gone.
^^^^ hahaha I Would get out of my car step away and haven camera ready and be prepared to enjoy a possible Show

I wonder why that is? Do you guys have 93octane?
I like self service. It's faster than waiting on someone else, and it's cheaper than they could offer at a full service station.
and if someone were smoking while operating a gas pump, I would report him. I could be mistaken, but I believe it is against the law in all 50 states for someone to smoke while operating a gas pump.
No full service here...We pump our own..a few states still require full service...I wish there still was a full service station around :(
All the comments were interesting. I didn't know any gas station in the States still had full service. Learned something today. Thanks for all the feed back.

I don't live there, just pass through once in a while on the way to NY and CT. Apparently there are a few reasons such as cheaper insurance for the stations, the "pros" being trained, etc. I figured it had something to do with the unions.
I wouldn't know about 93 Octane - our baby takes regular.
