Pretty good for a whole roll of film to get one good Picture, for me thats 8 gigs on my D7000.
Not really, but it was a lot of fun trying to get this picture with her crying in her grandmothers arms while she was shaking her trying to get her to stop crying. Just a lucky shot. Have a great day and thank you for your comments.

Just wanted to show her off, She is 4 months old and I finally got up to Odessa to see her on Dec 31, 2012. All the ladies in my office are jealous. Happy new year to everyone. I don't post much but I read the forum all the time and I appreciate all of the information everyone posts.

My heart sinks when people loose their pets. I have 3 Poodles and they trained me to get them water while they sit on the couch, they ask for chewys while they sit on the couch, the let me know when they want a walk, and when the wife and I go out to eat we always bring them a treat home so they think we are the best hunters they know, I guess I am the best trained human they know.
I am truly sorry for your loss. God Bless you and yours

I agree. obama care will be one of the biggest shams in history. An unbelievably large bill passed in a nano second that no one read. What a joke. Thanks to obama and his sheep my cancer has reached a point that is is not likely to be cured. After being treated at the Va for 5 years, all of a sudden I was no longer allowed treatment due to spending cuts, 22 years of service and a promise by the government gone. I was forced to find someone that took TRICARE and the first Doctor was a joke. I knew more about prostate cancer than he did. My prostate was removed at the VA 6 Years ago and my cancer returned soon after. My PSA at .4 my Doc said he believed it was benign left over tissue from the operation, He suggested watch and wait. My psa doubled on my last test 6 months later and he suggested retest in 6 months. Now its probably too late for radiation treatment.. Thanks obama. By the way, obama wants to raise TRICARE by about 300 percent in the near future to cover all of the rest of the lazy jerks who don't want to work.
Yes I'm mad!!, so much for free health care for military. Just one lie after another from our government. What makes anyone think the government can run a system as large a health care. What a Joke. I can't believe obama can't work 4 years without 100 rounds of golf, Hundreds of fund raisers, Vacations, and other trips just for the hell of it. I have been working 7 days a week with a few days off for over 9 years with no vacation. We do what we have to do, at least some of us do. Others are just happy collecting welfare, food stamps, and free medical all of their lives. I can understand disabled people but all of the others are lazy. If I had to provide for my family I'd pick cotton or any other job as necessary. What the hell is wrong with this world!!!

I have had problems in the past and some lately. I think the problem I had was the spring inside the battery compartment. if you look inside where the battery goes you will see a thin metal spring. I had to reach inside with a paper clip and pull it forward (toward the opening) a little to make better contact with the battery when it was inserted. Not sure if that will solve your problem but it fixed mine. Good luck

Mine fell off also, it is weak and Nikon should look at fixing the problem. I did get it back on but I am sure it could easily happen again.

Will a Nikon D7000 take pictures like this assuming all the settings are correct.

I recently purchased a B + W circular polarizer for a trip we will be taking soon to some sunny destinatios. I have taken a few shots with it, and they are of course darker. Any hints on using my new filter?

You really have to look through the viewfinder and turn the filter until you get the affect you are looking for. There is no right or wrong way. Pay attention to water and sky. To remove glare, watch the water surface as you turn... When the glare disappears, then you are ready to shoot. Likewise with the sky---when the sky turns dark blue, you'll know it.

Also, keep in mind that polarizing filters work best when the sun is at a 90 degree angle from the horizontal plane of your lens. Therefore, if you are looking for the deep blue sky, then you'll want to take shots between 11am and 1pm.

A final tip. It's very hard to see the affects through the viewfinder when you are wearing sun glasses (most have polarizing lenses as well). Of course, during high noon, sun is when you'll want to be wearing them. I usually have to take my sun glasses off to compose a shot. Very annoying.

Here's a shot I took with mine slightly before noon.

I looked at it on the link you sent, looks great. I will try it out, it is more advanced than Pro 10 with HDR capability. I'm really excited, thanks a million.

I agree, old and original makes it unique. Not sure why change was necessary but it was fun to work with. A chance to try new things
