You will love it! Is that the one that goes to Gatun lake? If it is you will love it! That is the one that my Wife and I went on! Whether it is the whole canal or not It is fantastic! I have the older version of the Sony. It is fantastic! The model 4 is probably a lot better! It is a great camera for what you are doing. You don’t need to mess with lenses and just take the pictures you want! Have fun on the cruise! By the way is it Princess you are going on? If it is they are fantastic! I have been on many cruises. At first I took a DSLR with 2 kit lenses. After a while it got very cumbersome to carry all of that gear. I am 73 years old and it got to be too much. I sold the DSLR and bought a Sony Cybershot DSC RX10 m 3 It is a 1” sensor with a 24-600 mm f2.4 w to f4.0 tele. It has been replaced by the m4. It has a little bit better focusing mode.The camera itself is a little bit big(almost as big as a dslr) but it has the big zoom and the 1” sensor that makes it good resolution wise. It makes it so you don’t need to carry around a lot of lenses and takes great photos. Take a look at it. It is a little bit expensive for a point and shoot but it makes a big difference as far as carrying around a lot of gear. Also get a theft proof camera strap to make it safer to travel with! I agree with wjones about the manual. If you don’t have one go to kodak manual.com and put in the model number and you can see or download the manual. The disk has the drivers for different computers. You might need to update the drivers (if they are available) I had several Kodak digital cameras. They were good.If that url doesn’t work just type in the Nrand, model number in google search and it should come up. Good luck!

I was not criticizing the photo. I was just making a statement about the car show. That wasn’t my son’s car. This is his car.

Was this taken at the Porsche show at skywalker ranch?If it was my Son went to the same one. He also owns a Porsche. It might even be the one in the photo. Darn small keyboards! I had to corrrect it 3 times!

As to the answer to the statement that digital cameras can put the date and time on the image there is another way to get information about the photo. If you have the original file the software that you view it with will give the date, time, camera brand, model and aperture, shutter speed and lens(if applicable. At least apple Ipad photos has it. take a look. Your photo program should show it. Good luck!

Just remember this! I know you have heard it before! it’s not the camera! It’s the photographer! You can take a good photo with a phone camera. It’s not the equipment it’s the user! You use the equipment the best way you know how! You don’t need expensive gear to take good pictures! The only difference between entry level is the pro gear has more bells and whistles that you have to learn to use! Sometimes that can be overwhelming! All you need is equipment you know how to use! The more you learn to use and maybe need more then you need better equipment. You only need what you are comfortable with. That’s all you need to know! All you can do is give it your best shot! If you don’t mind a little graininess and you have an iphone, ipad and a digital camera that is macro capable. You will also need a tripod. I made a setup to hold the photo and then you can take the photo with the camera. For the negatives you can use an iphone to illuminate them. The ipad is used to focus on the negatives. The ipad must be camera invert capable. You make a template to make it so only one negative is illuminated for the photo. you should put a piece of glass on top of the negative to flatten it. You put the Iphone under the wood base with the photo lined up under the hole so you can focus on it with the ipad or/and the camera. Then you put the setup(like the one I made) it is simple to make. on top of the iphone and photo. Put the ipad on it (in classic invert mode) You put the camera on the tripod and put it into macro mode, turn off the image stabilization.then using delayed shutter take the photo.You can edit it in photos on ipad or whatever you want.
You can use the same setup for b/w , color negatives. You can use it for copying slides without the ipad, using the iphone or whatever you have. The program I use to illuminate the negatives and slides is isoftbox on the iphone. I do not know what Android uses.

I doubt you can put any photos from the camera to the card because 8mb is smaller than any image that the camera can produce. I suggest not using that card and investing some money in a 32 Gb(or bigger) Card as the 8Mb card is essential unusable. Good luck!

Well. I’m going to use what I can. Whatever is easiest to use. I’m not trying to cause any hate and discontent. All I was trying to do was get an answer to a question. You are right Sometimes the camera doesn’t have a whole lot to do with it. It’s the photographer and how he(or she) has mastered the art. Photography is something that people use whatever way or level that they have accomplished. Used to their liking or their ability.

I know the cellphone has a good camera along with everything else but there are things you can do with the sony camera (or any camera) that aren’t possible with a cellphone camera(if you want to or are able to do). The problem sometimes is that you have to have the knowledge to utilize the features(fstop, shutter speed etc.). That is why I like the Sony camera better than the phone camera.I am enclosing 2 photos of the moon.One was taken with my cellphone. The other with my Sony camera. The Sony is far better than the cell.
I just like the versatility of the regular camera compared to the cell. Sometimes either one is a pain but I like the Sony better.

My family keeps telling me that the Iphone XR camera is better than my Sony Cybershot RX 10 m3 camera. I tell them that the rx 10 3 is a better camera. Am I correct? I would like proof to tell them to stop!
