Yep, UHH is not immune.there was a post yesterday about leather belts, and within the hour, there were ads on UHH for leather belts.

I saw the same post and clicked on the link. Within an hour, there were several adds from the same belt company on my Facebook page.

Now the right front was another story. Will remove the adjusters Monday as well as tear down the right rear wheel.

Have fun.

Most guys listened to me. If not, my last reply was, I have all my fingers and eye sight. Good to know you and I were the safe ones and used common sense.

When I looked at your photos of the brakes, what came to mind was ear plugs, lots of penetrating oil and a hand held sledge hammer-air hammer at times. Did that old truck run on leaded gasoline?

Whenever a fellow mechanic lifted or used jack stands incorrectly, I always asked if I could have their tool box if they replied, it's ok.

I laugh every time I hear the Kardashians mentioned on Star Trek. And yes, I'm a proud member of the group that has never watched the Kardashians. But I will watch them on Star Trek.

Plenty of free advice here on UHH. You get what you pay for. Your profits on a small handful of scenic cards will amount to pennies. You will spend $$$ on hundreds of each photo just to keep your cost down. If you only sell locally, driving to all the stores and selling yourself takes time and effort. If you want to go big, find a distributor willing to purchase thousands of various cards. Either way, your profits will be pennies per card. Do your research before jumping in. Best of luck.

I stopped buying Craftsman tool when they started looking like more clubs than tools.Up until that time they served me well.
Went to Snap-on, Mac and Matco, every now and then Cornwell or S&K

I'm with you on this one. I stopped buying Crapsman tools over 20 yrs. ago. What's left of my tool box is Snap On, Mac, Matco.

My wife has limited use of her left arm and hand. It takes several minutes and is much easier for her to put the mask on before leaving the house. I wait till exiting the car at our destination. Sadly, a few people look at us and laugh. Nothing wrong with humor, but when you make eye contact and laugh in their face, it hurts and that is not funny. Everyone has a story. The humor in this thread is funny.

Wow! I didn't know that. I saw a C-17 back up using their thrust reversers; easy for a jet engine. How does a prop plane do that? Can they rotate the prop blades enough so they give backward thrust?

Yes, blade angle can be changed (rotated), to provide thrust forward or backward. Engine rotation stays the same, only blade angle changes.

Yes. Go online to NTSB.org (National Transportation Safety Board.) Look for Office of Aviation Safety. You can search for accidents by month/data and other criteria.

Thanks for the info Stan.

This might be a little off subject, is there a website to read about causes of specific aircraft crashes? I'm looking for official findings, not some pilots opinion about what happened. A friend of mine was on a plane that over shot the runway, skidded off into the ocean. Fortunately no injuries. She talked to me about it since I worked on aircraft engines in the military.
