In this case I tend to like the color version a little better. In the color, the barn really stands out from the background. It draws the attention as it should, being the main point of focus. It also conforms well to the rule of thirds.
While I tend to like B/W in general for the mood it brings to the photo, there just isn't enough contrast to the barn and it gets lost in the background. This shifts the focus to the fence, which due to the contrast becomes more prominent.

Glad you like it. It was interesting that the only clear view I could get of the church was in the reflection. There was a fle market going on in the square, so I couldn't get back far enough to capture the whole building.

The photo was taken with a modified lumix point and shoot camera, and in post the red channel was suppressed and the blue channel maxed. This was done in Corel PhotoPaint. The colonization was done with AI Photo Enhance. I was quite surprised at the result myself.

Tried an experiment. I took a false color IR photo taken several years ago and ran it through an AI colorizer just to see what would happen. Well it turned out far better than I hoped. The first Pic is the original false color IR. The second is after the colorization.
