Based on reviews I've seen it may be quite soft at 400mm, unless stopped down quite a bit, Hand holding at 400mm may also be problematic.

That's a safe assumption for me! My wife is looking at it for her use. She's still steady! I'd go with the 70-300 if I was her, but she likes the lower end as well when hiking. I'm good with what I have and I am trying to behave.

I would imagine he was referring to the Nikon AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Lens versus the Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED.

If you ever want a job as a detective, you can use me as a reference. Nothing gets by you!

It obviously got by you, so no thanks on the reference offer. Too much tit for tat going on in Congress and the world. Not a good venue.

You know how it is. Wouldn't be UHH unless posters asked the same questions and received the same answers a million or more times. Remove those posts and this site would be barren. Hmm, that might not be a bad idea.

So tell me, do you yse filters for lens protection?

If you were president, would you pucker up and kiss KJU's butt? I think that the little fat bowl head started the fire, not President Trump.

This is not a schoolyard.

Must not have been headlined in Daily Caller or Breibart.

Clearly Camerapapi overstated the case. However, his point that sharpness also depends on the skills of the user is well taken.

Yes, it is a valid point that is brought up time and time again.
