Apparently no one can post an opinion here without others returning immature name calling insults. You want to disagree or point out where someone is wrong--fine. All that you prove when you call names or personal insults is that you are intolerant of other viewpoints and can only respond by child like name calling. And perish the thought that some one could make keyboard error or maybe guilty of a spelling error. All of you who throw insults at those who make those mistakes, are of course perfect in everything, so of course you have the right to denigrate those of us who are less than perfect. So I now say that I am truly sorry for my lack of perfection.

If the insurance is part of your homeowners' policy watch out because deductibles apply and personal articles are limited. We had a burglary where mostly my wife's jewelry was stolen but also some sports memorabilia of mine and a Nikon P510 that I used as backup to my DSLR which the burglar did not find. Our homeowner's was limited to $2,500 in personal articles with a $500 deductible. Fortunately we had a separate Personal Articles policy for much of my wife's better jewelry and my more expensive DSLR gear as well as some other items. In all we had almost $25,000 worth of stuff insured that way for $150.00/yr and recovered about $7,000.00 of lost property with no deductible.

Yep. Same here. My Sony has a dynamite autofocus system. With any autofocus system, a lot of its reliability has to do with the lens itself. It does not matter whether if it is controlled though the body or the lens. And you are so right about the "toys". There are even point & shoot cameras that have features that no one uses - and should. I am still discovering some very useful tools is mine that I did not know existed. This just proves that I am still a true amateur.

The funny thing is about that saying that a better camera does not make for a better photographer. Not true. Even though I feel that many people ordering the D850 probably have no business owning one, I am positive that their crappy pictures will be of the highest quality. Lol.
