Stupid question...how do you tell bad beer from "good" beer, if there is such a thing? Some of my siblings drink beer, my dad drank beer. I've sampled theirs many times. YUCK!!!

Your right beer to me taste like the stuff that comes out your nose when you throw up.

What about the A65 is this a good choice?.

I have an A65 and a A77ii. The A65 takes much better photos then the A77ii consistently.

Absolutely, as stated in the old testament, however you will never convince a skeptic who only believes in science and has no faith.

Unfortunately you are correct.

Are you taking it on faith or do you have scientific proof? Could there exist a prime mover that we call God as Eisenstein believed or are just a jumble of chemicals as Carl Sagan believed?

Faith, If the Father said it, it's true!
Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

It's all evolution. The earth was created about 4 billion years ago by the collision of two planet like bodies, where the largest piece became the earth and the rest flew off from the earth as debris and went into orbit around the earth. This debris eventually came together to form our moon.

And then the sky fell and hit us on the head.

I would say with a Sony in the body. I have used it with both Sony and Minolta lenses. I would think that the focus wouldn't be able to be changed on the Minolta lenses some being 30 plus years old.

Copy it and paste it in word. Then edit it. Re-save it as a PDF. Delete the original

My daughter always spoils me with a great Christmas gift each year. Since a Tesla is out of the question because I would open it up and either get arrested or kill myself, I am asking for a battery charger for my smaller battery needs. I would like one that will charge AA, AAA, 9v, C, and D sizes. It has to be able to charge Alkaline, RAM, Ni-MH, and Ni-CD. Being able to charge different sizes/types at the same time would be great, as would discharge/conditioning. Thanks for any suggestions.

I find this one works great. It wont charge 9V or D. Beware of knock offs without verification number.

I just found this online. This might help.

Go to Setup Menu
Send to Smart Device (auto)
Switch from "On" to "Off"

FYI If you are not connected, the images will not download
NOTE If the pictures have that Wifi icon, AND you set "Send to Smart Device (auto), ON" AND you connect the smart device, then they will download at that time (makes sense) AND that icon will be cleared. Then turn it off before taking any more pictures.

I downloaded into 2 separate folders on my pc.. 1 folder with all of the good images and one folder with the invalids.
I left the sd card alone (just in case)

now...
I deleted 5 of the invalid images off the sd card. then I ran recuva on the sd card..it said recovered--excellent.. i put them in a folder , clicked to open and it said..Invalid image !!! this is crazy. in the properties it says the data is there, the extension is correct (.jpg).

I have never had any issues with sd cards in the past or my canon writing a valid picture.. this is what I get for trying an "all in one" camera.

the sd card was bought from a reputable store.

I am glad I changed sd cards for the next day.. and the next day with the other sd card everything is there this is just so strange.

I have that, thanks..I am going to call them today.

The camera is a Sony RX10 m4.. new(er) camera all updated software. Yes it supports large memory cards. I put a large one in in case I videoed (I didn't video).

I wish it was 1 photo...198 photos in the hit..but only one afternoon, I sure lot of the pictures would have been deleted by me in the end.. and luckily I was intermittently taking one on my phone. The camera on my Google Pixel 3xl is terrific. I almost didn't bother with a camera on vacation, but I love using a camera.

I have gone through a lot of on-line searched regarding this problem.

I just got home from vacation. I had a 128gb SD sandisk card. when I downloaded the photos the 1st half are fine. the second half say "no valid image" the file number and 123.jpg is there..when i look at properties there is data. I tried opening them in Windows Photos, in Adobe, tried uploading to web..nothing.
adobe says "could not complete your request because a JPEG marker length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete). say what???

any ideas? suggestions?

Is there a second dot after 123.jpg?
They could be MODD, MOFF or THM files especially if your camera is a Sony.
If so they contain information needed for managing images.
If not I don't have a clue.
