For an old Hippy you do a great job with your camera.Sure enjoy your beautiful pictures. Please keep shooting.
Congratulations and we hope you have many more wonderful years together.
B&H Photo Video is a great place to buy.I have bought many items with no problems. If you can afford it buy new.
I have been to Italy and it is a great trip.
My choice would be a good prime lens such as the 50mm or 85 mm 1.4.plus another such as the 24/70 or 105.
The lens I used was the Canon 28/135 and it worked great. I also carried a Canon G 11. Great also.
In Berlin there were family members on both sides with no contact for many years. It was a very sad time for both East and West Berliners.I spent 25 months in Berlin after the wall was built.
Sure hope this never happens to America.Symbol of the broken family caused by the Berlin Wall.Granddaughter went with us to Berlin in 2010.
I purchased a Canon 28/135 lens in 2003 to use on my Canon Elon 7N film camera. It performed great so when I purchased my EOS 40D the lens was used with it. Always did a great job.
In 2015 I replaced the 40D with a 70D,used the 28/135 on it as well.
In 2016 I got the urge to replace the 28/135 because of a little lens creep. Went with the Tamron 16/300 as per recommendation from salesman at camera store.
I wish I had tried the 18/135 first. I just trust the Canon name.
BTW I gave the 40D and the 28/135 to my daughter. Now she wants the 70D. I can't win.
Love the picture. Both look great.
I loved my 56 Ford. This is a beautiful car.
You had a great camera with the Canon. I still have mine. I would prefer to stay with Canon and buy either the Canon 24/70 lans or the canon 24/105.Both are great lens. Also the 50mm 1.4 or the 85mm prime lens.
Go full frame if you can afford. Wish I could but guess I will keep my 70D,Works great.
Good luck and enjoy your hobby.
Nice shots. I love that area of the state. The company I worked for in Arkansas (Munsey) had a plant in Lenoir City and I had the pleasure of visiting several times. The area is beautiful and the people there are top quality.Sure miss it.
You are blessed living in Arkansas as in the western and northern part of the state there is so much beauty to spend time with a camera on.Get out there and shoot shoot and shoot some more.
