Is there a quick explanation of how to do photo-stacking. It's pretty impressive in your macro shots.
May I suggest a slightly tighter ceop to eliminate whatever i intruding in the left side of the frame. Definitely a nostalgic-looking shot.
It certainly gave you a good shot of Squirril-Zilla!
I think the first photo has more intrigue, more mystery b/c you get the same perspective with slightly less tilt, and if you zoom in on the sign in download, the same story. But it's as if the lonely old abandoned house wants to reach out to you to tell you its story, to introduce you to the ghosts inside its walls. In the second shot, the more tilted perspective makes the house seem too desperate, too eager to reach you. But then maybe I just read too many ghost stories. .
This being said and all comments aside, there is no such thing as "One lens to rule them all!" I believe you should use the lens/lenses that work best for you in your photographic odyssey.
Beautiful BOP Portraits, Vic. Can you share any info about lenses, exposure, lighting, etc?
The shot is amazing. I would love to know what kind of equipment and what processes you used to get this shot, if you don't mind sharing. For example, did you rent time at an observatory or did you have your own equipment.
I like the caption Mirror Image, especially after your improvement PP.
Nice street shots. Clock Seller doesn't look too happy. I think he may actually be giving you the finger.
I wish. This pic looks like something out of a 1959's Sci-Fi invasion movie. I would save this one!
I love the striking shades and hues!
I think I would call it "Culture Shock"
Like you, I like the first image least, but I like the 2nd image (B&W) the best.
In addition to a slimmer Outdoor Photographer, I subscribe to an online magazine through Amazon Kindle called Smart Photography. It's in English (mostly) though it is published in Mumbai, India. At first, it was a little disconcerting to see some of the ads with models and script from India, but I soon got accustomed to it. Smart Photography covers a broad range of photographic subjects, and their photography is excellent. It is somewhat ad-heavy, but I enjoy ads that help me keep up with the technology of photography. You can get a free trial issue on Amazon Kindle. BTW, if you don't have a Kindle, the Fire-8"Kindle is a good buy, or you can download the Kindle APP for your computer. Good luck on your journey to becoming a better photographer.
