Thank you, Dixiegirl
It seems that I'm unable to get the same sharpness with digital as I use to get with my film cameras. Even if I use the same lenses.

The first pictures I've taken this year. It was very windy today. They are not as sharp as I like.

It was a simple math problem not very completed. Here is something more complicated to try.

Show that the curve r = sin θ tan θ (called a cissoid of Diocles) has the line x = 1 as a vertical asymptote. Show also that the curve lies entirely within the vertical strip 0 ≤ x < 1. Use these facts to help sketch the cissoid.

Did you ask them something about a popular singer? And when they answer, did you ask why they "needed" to know that?

No,however that a great question.

I posted on page 6 a repeat of the correct procedure and answer. I did that because so many preceding me claimed they followed the rules and got wrong answers (they didn't follow the rules). I thought my explanation might convince a few that they erred. I see we still have people posting with wrong answers and convinced they are following the rules of arithmetic. That is what surprises me.

Don't be surprised. I ask quite a few people of ages 18 to 45 how many feet and inches in a yard. Only about 30 out of a hundred I ask know. Many work at lowes, home depot, etc. Older people seem to know. I had a few who graduated in the last year or so who didn't know and used the excuse why do I need to know that.

And, I must repeat, one user gave the correct answer --- with full explanation --- on page one.

So, that means these 14 pages are either
a) lots of people who can't understand simple math or simple explanations. -and/or-
b) lots of people who post to a thread without bothering to read it first.

A quick guess would be
66% - post with out bothering to read it first
17 % - post who can't understand simple math or explanation.
11% - post without bothering to read and also cannot understand math or simple explanations
2 % - read a few answers and do not post at all.
3% - have no idea what the post is even about
The rest of us drink.

The boy is holding 2 bouquets and wearing 2 shoes, and MDAS still applies (enforced below with parentheses):

X = A + ((B + 2A + 2C) x C) = 5 + ((5 + 10 + 4) x 2) = 5 + (19 x 2) = 5 + 38 = 43

Right on!

Rule of order
This means that you should do what is possible within parentheses first, then exponents, then multiplication and division (from left to right), and then addition and subtraction (from left to right).

5+(19*2)=43

Yes, remember "Please excuse my dear aunt sally."

That's why we have an early spring. You shot him and he couldn't see his shadow on ground hog day.

Its a bracket that hold a step. The step part is not there. I think the lineman carried the steps. If they left them in place, kids would climb the poles. Many times they were higher up the pole so it would be harder to climb up without pole spikes to reach them. The screw type in the above picture were usually farther up the pole.
Please note: This is an assumption based on me climbing poles when I was a kid.

As for Models they use models to predict the weather. We all know how well that works.

Buy what you need when you need it. It's as simple as that. When everyone does that the product will always be on the shelf.

Right on! Best response today.
Panic buying is caused when a country is being run on emotions instead of law.
