Hi, Marg - it's really not difficult. You select an empty slot, decide on a topic and you let Lesley (Photogirl17) know. Send her a PM and include a picture she can use for your challenge on the calendar. The night before the 3-day challenge:
1) Usually in the evening - Eastern Time sort of - go to current challenge
2) Under headings at top you click "Create New Topic" and if it doesn't show "Contests, Periodicals" use drop down menu til that appears and click it
3) It will ask for title/topic. Title should start with the word "Challenge", the challenge title and challenge dates
4) Type in your introduction to the topic, add some images
5) Click SEND
6) In the browser bar, copy the "address" and post it in the current challenge so people can find it
7) As folks post, you comment when you can and make folks and their contributions feel welcomed

Folks... this is a plea....we really need help with the challenges. They are enjoyed, popular and have proven to "challenge" folks to improve their skills and/or try something they'd never thought of before.

Please help host - it's easy, it's fun, it's rewarding. All of us are busy, but it's "doable" to host one a month or every 6 weeks. Two or more a month is becoming difficult to maintain.

Thanks for helping out. A special thanks to the "regulars" who step up so the challenges can continue.
