I agree with Dan, get the camera out now, take pictures of the bland winter days. When spring opens up you will see new bright colorful things and enjoy it even more.

The catch light in picture #1 looks like the corona on the sun. What is it? Nice Photos..

I know it is after the fact now but, was there any thought of getting on some of the boats while they were docked, to take some shots? If you get to do the function at a later date I would ask even if to get a few staged close-ups to go along with the long shots.

The fur person seems to be thinking, "I will miss you my friend".

The B&W makes the image speak to you. Great..

I would have liked to see a wider view. It almost looks as if it may have been a foundation for a cabin.

Of the suggestions here I would use a 6 foot step ladder, make a hood extension, take a reading off of an 18% gray card, put on manual and bracket 2/3 or a full stop either side of the 18% gray card reading.

When I got my Canon AE-1 (around 1976) I took pictures of everything that seemed neat to me. I saw a log house being built and almost daily I took pictures of the progress of it going up. When it was completed around Christmas, I took an album of about 100 pictures of the built to them. I had never met them until that day. They were thrilled saying they wanted to take pictures but it just did not happen. We became good friends. About a year later they asked me photograph their twin daughters weddings. I did not want to do it at all but they did not want an elaborate album just some pictures so I said yes. It turned out the pictures were better than I ever thought they would be and again the brides were thrilled. That was the start of what I called my paying hobby. My wife, the gown fluffer, and I only averaged about 6 wedding a year. They were all word of mouth and that was great. I also got involved with our daughters sports and soon started doing team photos and memory mates. With the money I made I upgraded to a Bronica SQ-A and the weddings pictures got better. When I retired from my real job in 2000 I stopped all photography for money. Now I just do things for charity, dog and cat no kill shelter, children's home and other things. I think this would be a good way for someone to see if photography is what they want to do. I would not want to do it full time but I enjoyed doing what I did. I really love doing this for the enjoyment of others.
On this past Sunday March 18th I did Easter Bunny pictures with dogs and cats.

Too bad the tourist is in the picture. Remove him and it would be much better.

Take one of your kids or grandkids favorite pictures, cut it in the size of the filter and put it between two of the filters. They will love it.

I did not want to take my eyes off of the portrait. A most amazing composition in my mind.

The first thing I did was ask where I could go to get good photos. They may let you go into the dugouts with the teams, In certain parts of the foul zone. Behind the backstop, In the press box, if there is one. Find where you would like to go and ask. You may be surprised where you may be able to go. Now buy your camera and use it.

I am what is called a super v**er, Since I have been able to v**e (52 years of v****g) I have only missed one primary e******n. I believe that v****g is so important that if you do not v**e you cannot complain about anything that is done in your community, your state or the country. If you do not v**e, start this year, get registered, and v**e.

I like the background, it goes well with the blossoms.

Take that WESSO plate off of the front, It is the same as having a fly on the nose of a great model.
