All these were scanned from 56 year old slides, unboxed recently. The location is the Thule, Greenland area and it is early Fall. The blue sky and color is natural there when the clouds and sun (what little is available) work together.
I cropped to do away with what I believed as distracting - more of the feeder or grass and fence in the background. Thanks for your comments.
This guy sat around for nearly 15 minutes just "sittin'". Though I don't have software-yet- to do a better job controlling background, I think these came out fairly good. C and c appreciated.

My wife has an orchid plant that sits on the breakfast table and has blossomed for the third time. Tried to capture uniqueness of the throat of the flower along with the overall beauty of each flower. Your suggestions, c and c would be appreciated as I still have much to learn.
