This guy sat around for nearly 15 minutes just "sittin'". Though I don't have software-yet- to do a better job controlling background, I think these came out fairly good. C and c appreciated.

Other than background changes, any comments appreciated.

Very nice. Awesome shots right out of the camera. Did you crop them that tight? They need more room. Everything else is great!!

Even if they were bad, I would not say anything negative because I love all Cardinal pix. Great catches by the way!

I cropped to do away with what I believed as distracting - more of the feeder or grass and fence in the background. Thanks for your comments.

Number 1 and 2 would have been better with the entire tail feathers. Number 3 is great as it is. Overall they are great shots.

You had the same problem that I had. I wanted to catch a Cardinal with his comb/head plumage standing up. Nice shots.

Great expression on the Cardinal. It's nice when they cooperate by sitting around for a while. I didn't find the background to be distracting at all. You manged to catch him in his natural environment.

Only 1 thing I can think of: If you are trying to get the whole bird in a photo to make sure you get the whole tail too. Other than that I say good job.
