I need some advice as to what would be a good desktop to get to start editing digital photographs.
I do now that I will need something with a big memory at least 1TB or more.
And want something with Windows7. Am looking at an Acer model--same brand as my laptop :-D which I really like
I have tried FastStone Image Viewer--downloaded free program--think I got it from cnet.com--nice starting off program.
cnet.com had other free editing programs that are both for windows and mac.
another program is photo editor-that has a feature that FastStone does not and that is the ability to add waves etc to an image.

I went to the webpage and did some editing of a throwaway image and liked the result. Too bad that this is not something that can be downloaded and used off line.
I feel that it is up to the orginal photographer to be that they are the ones that posts the photograph to face book--not someone else. And everyone should respect that.

I have 2 dogs and they are my best friends and do not know what I would do with out them.
The photos of the dogs here are lovely.
There is nothing wrong with the exchange of ideas outside of the field of photography. And maybe this is the only place that someone can write down their ideas to share with other people.
If there is a dis-like of topics then be that you so not click on to the non photography ones it is that simple.

Thank you for that information--an outstanding career.
I know a lot of fellas that are/have been in the sevice. There are several that are in Active Duty right now on both sides of the border. And anyone that has retired has always missed being in the service.

Thank you for the message--am a film user and guess that I need to be that I do something about getting a digital or start being that I have a CD burnt so can install photos on computer! That is going to be awhile since have nothing recent done.. And if I go digiatal it will be not until I check out all the cameras and get what I reall want.
