It's a sad commentary of our education system. I had the same problem with the cashiers at my local Harris Teeter grocery. Pretty soon the cash register is going to have to tell the cashier not only the amount of change, but the actual coins to use. That's two quarters, a dime and a penny.

printer for larger prints

I have a canon Pixima. It uses 8 ink cartridges. It prints up to 13 x 19. Uses photo paper. The print quality is unbelievable. Ink is expensive. Paper isn't cheap, but the results are worth it.

Lens covers

Many years ago, in a land far,far away, I was told to put a neutral density filter on all my lenses, and never take them off. It eliminated the need to cap the lens all the time. I had a Nikkomat at the time, but I don't think the situation has changed.
