I’m a videographer and was excited getting a close-up like your first picture; so excited that I forgot about the blockers running full speed on the right, behind the Sony DSR 500 blocking my view. I went sprawling in one direction and my expensive camcorder went another. Comment: You have a very good lens and you’re a very good photographer.

My niece trains horses and riders in Lindale, Texas. She would give her right arm for that first picture, or one similar taken of one of her students. She has a number of pictures of the riders with their trophies and the students, as well as their parents would cherish that picture of this jump.
I was teaching school in Oklahoma City when Our Mister Sun came out and the newspaper came out to see how I would handle a class being taught by someone remotely. I survived. Later, when teaching in Ardmore I produced a science show for TV. Everything went well until, at the end of the program, I had mixed hydrogen and oxygen in a coke bottle (a trick I learned at Princeton) and was putting it up to the benson burner. The TV guy lower the mike to get the delicate bubbles he expected. The mike was blown up to the ceiling.
