Beautiful as always.Thanks
I have made several trips.Camera of choice were Canon EOS40D then the Canon EOS70D. Lens were the Canon 28/135 then later the Tamron 16/300.Both set ups worked great.
Also carried the Canon G11.Took many very good pictures.
Thanks Insman but his sarcasm does not bother me.Sometimes you just have to look past the sly remarks.
With my 70D i liked the 28/135 lens then went to the Tamron 16/300.
Travel light is best advice. On one trip my wife was asked if she worked for CNN as she was carrying so much gear.
Have a wonderful trip and make a lot of memories.
The Canon EOS40D with a 28/135 lens had dome a great job.
Later replaced the 40D with a 70D same lens. Great pictures.
She is a beauty,Bostons are my favorite dogs. We have one at present Queen Isabella.
We were there in 2010 with the Berlin US Military Veterans Assn. of which I am a member. This place to me is more touching than Arlington. Two of President Roosevelt's sons Teddy Jr and Quincy are buried here.Teddy was awarded the Medal of Honor at Utah Beach but died from a heart att a few months later.
The 40D is a great camera.Used mine for a long time before buying a 70D.
I love to shoot people with true B&W film.Personal preference.
