Here's a couple more that I tried to take by shooting around or over the roof tops.

Your first one here, and maybe a couple others showing the distinct lines of clouds would be good to email one of the meteorologists at channels 12, 8, or 6 in Richmond. They would likely be able to identify cloud formations. Neat photos!

I have been ready to delve into photo books as well. Jerry, what is the learning curve on the software? I will eventually try a Graphistudio book, but am slowly going through the video tutorials.

I've done two books with Adoramapix. Easy Peasy! They do a great job, and great turn around time!

I don't believe that I have carved anything since about 1990. I carved a few decorative waterfowl carvings and attended many of the waterfowl shows that carvers and waterfowl artist participated in and the talent was unbelievable! I was so very slow and could never really satisfy myself, I still have all my carving equipment and some great memories, and maybe one day....!

Ya gotta! Nothing wrong with what you've carved, and nothing wrong with slow. Pick those tools back up and have at it! Then, use your awesome photo skills and post yer shots!

you have 2 great talents..in both photography and carving...!

Thank you RaeRae! Woodworking has been my therapist for probably 40 years now and actually got me more involved in my other interest - photography. I had always wanted to be able to take better photos of my work to share on FB.
Thanks again for commenting.

From the title of the post and me watching the NHL All Star Skills competition on tv, you fooled me about the meaning!

Nice carvings btw.
