So- I am down on Chocolate Bayou, in West Galveston Bay, and I am watching this Heron. He strikes, we both miss-- And I catch a glimpse of a Pelican. I start snapping. I haven't re-set anything on the camera from the Heron, this is fluid. The pelican comes by, I get a 3-fer. I catch my breath, almost. Then the Heron jumps off to flight... still no reset. This is what I got - and I only trashed 6 shots... Lucky me... I got caught lookin, and I still got something to show for it. And every now and then somebody asks... Why Photography? well I guess I don't know... really... :-) d---
except for the circle at the bottom, i like the heck out of it? can you re-do the circle thing o eliminate it?
Some of you folks take yourselves way too seriously, and enjoy pounding sand entirely too much. Even after being asked if it was a camera question, he said "exactly."
Then you all kept pounding composition etc... OMG!!!
so having said that--- I will answer the question- the 2nd photo's camera from what you snapped of the 2 photos gets my vote-- JUST FOR FUN!---(he said)
I bet you don't have one of these, and please don't critique the photo. Just lucky? I got them...
same frog, 2 different angles. he never moved.
check out the water. hard to believe its in a natural stream...
I would say pick one, but don't marry it. I go looking for landscapes and nature shots. And sometimes I stumble on something else and go for it, too!
I really try to avoid those situations, but fools really make that hard to do sometimes...
I have chased so many of those... good photos... I will post a few of mine here sometime... :-)
thats like ice cream. you. can't. not. smile. :-) Reminds me of my son's dog Bailey. Growled at me a lot till he discovered bacon in my back pocket. Then he was my new BFF!!!
Thankyou. Note your from Hockley. I lived in Houston area 38 years. Sold my house in Katy last year, and moved up here to Indiana on the Ohio River. (Tri-State).. We have been concerned for our former neighbors, but so far luck has been on their side. I hope so for you, as well... d---
#3 favorite, because the light beaming through,- is showing off the stream...
Thankyou. I am sure this won't be my first error. Your helpful, and constructed answer is appreciated. Thanks!! :-)
