Crusades mentioned here had at least two purposes.
The first one was to get rid of all who started to question the church interference in everyday life in Europe.
The second like a recent war I will not mention was based on lies and innuendos.
That said, the Koran does state death to the infidels but it also states and not mentioned here that it is to defend one owns faith, not to conquer. The later being the extremist Islamist call, under a fake jihad that refers to personal struggle within one self BUT that can be extended outward, again in case of aggression.
I lived in the middle east. In the few states that are not rotting under the extremist call life is peaceful, even for the non-believers. Jews, christians and other faith are allowed as long as not preaching a change of faith.
Also if I recall well, the christians went on to colonize the rest of the world and at the time the action was: Convert or die. Then for profit: convert or become a slave. Sadly extremist islamists have not invented anything but follow a long pattern created by every religion, however old it is.
A small phrase here does not shock anyone but says quite a lot about the writer:
racist wrote:
The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the minority races.
That invalidates all the rest. To define the US as a race divided nation and to accuse minorities of converting to islam is far from telling the truth about anything.
As to the 'fastest' growing religion... If I create one (a sect due to the small number) if I convince one person to join me, it grows by 100% if 2 200%. It just have become the fastest growing sect/religion in the world!!!
This shows how ridiculous this once too often chain posted misinformation really is.
