He says that our sexuality is determined when we are born. If we have no control over it why do we put people who "love" children in prison if they have no control over it? They were born that way.
It is not their fault.

Children are too young to accept "love" from adults, and need laws to protect them, I think that is different from two informed, consenting, adults

I think there is a big difference in loving children and abusing them and if two consenting adults make love that's fine if one objects that's rape.

I think the problem here is the definition.jesus said we should love all people as we love ourselves.love is not sex and sex is not love!animals have sex but they cannot love.Love is careing for another person so much that you would do anything for that person with no expectation of reciprocation of any kind!no sex mentioned!

I really couldn't give a rat's ass what adults do, but with all due respect, the pastor says there is no scientific reason to not think homosexuality is a "natural condition." He's wrong.

All I know is my basic education in science taught me that anything that causes a species to go extinct is not "natural" and since 2 men or 2 women can't propagate the species, they will become extinct after 1 generation, homosexuality can't be "normal."
There is a distinction between politics and biology here. Let's not confuse the two.

I agree that it is a crime and wrong but the man said that we are born with our sexuality. So if these people make a choice to do this why is it not a choice to be homosexual or straight?
I am trying to make a point that the argument that he used can be applied to other things that are perversions.

Honestly I do not see how being born gay or in the wrong body relates to child abuse.

The argument is not about learned or selected behavior here. The child of a drunk is likelier to become a drunk. Trouble is, one can break the pattern, I owe to know, my grand father was a drunk and so was my father. I swore not to drink when I was a kid. That was 44 years ago - I was 13 - and I kept that promise to myself.

Deviant are not born that way, they become that way, same for all who make wrong choices. Being gay at birth or hermaphrodite is not a choice. Now since it appears (media accounts - AH!) that a good percentage of our population is gay (Yeah, right) as someone mentioned above, it means that we are on the verge of extinction. Not a bad thing if you ask me, seeing how well we take care of the garden left to us by god...

You can spin this any way you want but it is my firm belief that we are all responsible for our choices, once we are free to make them.

I understood the post.
The man in the video said that we were born with whatever our sexual attraction is. I f it is to woman or man. I used logic to apply that to people that are attracted to children are born that way.
You said that is a choice ,which it is, I believe that people are attracted to other people and some choose to like woman and some choose to like man.
I have had male friends that I found very attractive but never thought about having sex with them.
Why do some people feel sick when they see 2 gay men kissing?
