Wal-Mart vs. The Morons

1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart every hour

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target
+Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's
largest private employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the
world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway
combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen
years.

8. during this same period, 31 big supermarket chains
sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in
the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart. You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

The Democrats, along with their union buddies, have been trying to put Wal-Mart out of business for years. This should be read and understood by all Americans… Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To President Obama and all Democrat members of the Legislature, It is now official that the majority of you are corrupt:

A. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You
have had 237 years to get it right and it is broke.

B. Social Security was established in 1935 by Democrats. You have had
77 years to get it right and it is broke.

C. Fannie Mae was established in 1938 by Democrats. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
D. War on Poverty started in 1964 by Democrats. You have had 48
years to get it right; $1 trillion of out money is
confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and
they only want more.

E. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 by Democrats. You
have had 47 years to get it right and they are broke.

F. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. For the most part it has been run by Democrats and have had
42 years to get it right and it is broke.

G. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 by Democrats to
lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to
16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year
and we import more oil than ever before.

You had 35 years to get it right and it is an abysmal
failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have
shoved down our throats while overspending our tax
dollars. AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU
CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH
CARE SYSTEM??

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it
will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected'
(they never read anything) and their staff will clue them in
on how Americans feel. AND We have lost our minds to
"Political Correctness" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own seniors, Veterans, Orphans, and Homeless etc.,???????????

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile,
Japan, Turkey and Pakistan........previous home of Bin
Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no
extra aid nor do they get any special breaks—nadda
beyond shopping discounts... AND Congress wants to
freeze Social Security payments ... You do know that
Congress voted themselves a pay raise for 2013???

What you conveniently forgot to mention...

Republican and democrat write IOU against SS and never paid it back. Money used where? I do not see it. When it is time to distribute back the SS, there is no money, yeah, right, where is it? So the politicians from both parties essentially stole the retiree money. Now republicans claim it is someone else's fault. That little amendment ... and other purposes ... Works well.

Post office is making a profit but congress led by republicans made an obligation for the USPS to pay for their retirees pension funds in a very short time creating an artificial deficit. When this is done, who will use the money since the same republican want to privatize the USPS? The pretext used? The USPS is broke. Let's privatize. It is the only federal organization that actually works and makes money. Can't have that. And, oh, yeah, how about the forced change in retirement benefit made by the republican congress that basically cut the retiree in half?

Many of what you 'forwarded' here is inaccurate full of outright misstatements if not lies.

What is not mentioned is that walmart does not support veterans at all, is being constantly sued by its own employees for cronyism, racism, sexism and who knows what else. Employee's pay? With a sling shot.

What is mentioned but not said is that 36k sales produces 20k profit which mean a ratio of what? 101% profit (sales-profit)/cost, not bad considering this a not a good economic period. To make such a profit one has to sell crap to undiscerning customers. This is called exploitation.

So, yeah, let's use an exploitative corporation as an example of 'good governance'. You have to be a complete idiot to shop there. I do not. I am an idiot but I am not completely **** up, yet.

That Walmart greets new hires at such low wages it provides each of them with information to apply for public assistance I think would be sufficient to ask some questions about their high profit low prices of lesser quality merchandise produced by foreign wage slaves . Apparently it's customer base cares only for the so - called " bargains " and to hell with those underpaid, much abused producers of those so - called " Bargains " .

I see some state that Walmart has such wonderful prices compared to other stores. The truth is that Walmart is selling a cheaper (quality) version of the product. Example Sony TV's; Walmart sells them for a price that most other stores can't.
Sony TV's actually have a variety of models, starting with "S" version which is what Walmart sells. If anything can be made cheaper it is stuck in the S model. If metal, it is plastic anywhere it can be, etc. The other stores sell "T, U, V, W, X and Z" models with the better quality going to "Z".
This is like comparing to get somewhere, namely if you choose a destination a VW Bug (the old bug) will get you there just like a Limo, but the traveling aspect is totally different.
Yes Sony puts their name on the product, but its Walmart that dictates how Sony makes it. Instead of Sony telling Walmart how much it is for them to produce it, Walmart tells Sony how much they will pay for it.
The old adage goes "you get what you pay for". It doesn't mean the "S" version won't work, just as the VW bug will get you there, it's the internal parts that make the difference, and is hidden from view that make it cheaper. This is also for the other Brand name products at Walmart. This is one reason for the cheaper prices.
