I have not found that at all on this site. I was very timid at first about asking for help and finally asked some very elementary questions and received nothing but positive help and replies. The members here have been very helpful to me
I've seen great photos that appear to show flowing water frozen in time. Like a splash suspended. How can a novice attempt that with a tripod and a Canon XSi?
I have a Canon Rebel XSi and each time it is powered off it says "Cleaning Sensor" Is this a process that is actually doing anything?
As a total rookie I could not believe how much I picked up. Thanks so much Jim.............You make it look so simple
Thanks so much for all of the replies! You have all been a super wealth of knowledge and I really appreciate it. Now I am just going to experiment until I get the "hang" of it.
After a lifetime of taking photos with a point and shoot I finally bought a Canon Rebel XSi. I love the results I'm getting but so far I'm still only using the Auto setting. I've been reading about aperture and shutter speed and it would appear understanding these 2 is the first stand in creating good photos. Does anyone know of a simple, layman chart or formula that an older rookie can use to help determine which combination of the 2 should be used in different situations?
Thanks for you help.
