Right! If they keep selling at reasonable prices, I'll be happy.

EPSON told me the shelf life is two years, to me, meaning AT LEAST two years. IF you are so concerned about the low cost of this ink then just buy some extra ink now and you will have it. At todays cost, I would not worry about it.

I've never been able to scan a QR Code. When I was shopping yesterday, a clerk gave me his card to rate him online. To do so I have to scan the code. Taking a picture of it doesn't do anything.

A QR code (short for Quick Response code) is an array of black and white squares or pixels set in a grid that stores data for a machine to read. A smartphone or camera can quickly process the information contained in a QR code’s specific arrangement of pixels, making it a convenient way to store and access data.

I've heard about updates making it impossible to use generic ink cartridges in printers, and I'm wondering if it would be possible for an ink tank printer to detect non-OEM liquid ink. At the current time, the OEM bottles are cheap enough that going generic isn't a temptation. However, if they give us an update that makes generic ink impossible to use, they could raise their prices as high as they want. Of course, by the time you find out your printer can't use the cheap ink you bought, it's already through the system, so you'd probably have to buy a new printer.

A firmware update notice for my Epson ET-8500 made me wonder about that.

My EPSON ET 2800, uses the 522 bottled ink. After two years I just bought new ink. I but it from EPSON. It last me a long time. 20 bucks for black and 18 for color. WHY get non OEM. I dumped my ink cartridge printers, they are a money hungry machine uses ink and cost too much.
Cannot complain about the cost of bottled ink.

A while back I posted an image that really needed some 'fixin.' There were some supportive comments along with suggestions to upgrade. I got tired of the bad weather and so decided to spend some time on this image.

So Bruce! You do visit the forums! I knew it, its the girly 'flesh' that draws your return. The simple formula, want visits to your web spot, bring in the views with women and the boys will always stop by! That is why the hostess is always more the center of a party than the boy.

Nice to 'see' you my friend!

Hell yea Tim, that is what I said. I read the forum every morning. Who tha hell you think this is ? the Pope !
I hit this noodie topic section first then browse the chit-chat, I will stop in on other topics if there is something of interest to me of if I am needing help with something or if I can contribute to a post.
Look dude, women are blessed gifts to men and we are to them. They are lovely and should be appreciated.
Now me, I am not a pervert who sits alone masturbating over noodies, I am a man who appreciates the lovely artistic and beauty of our counterparts in this life. Where would we be with out each other huh ?
Keep on keep'n real bro,

My experience was Mary from the school of business but with like experience. She was always going to art events and wanting to be around the arts. One day she asked me if I would like her to model for me as a figure model, I was thrilled.

During our session she asked me why I and a few others liked to have her model nude, was it that men just wanted to see nude women? I confirmed what she was saying yet if the men, or woman had any education, ay sensitivity at all they could easily understand that she was the classic earth goddess incorporated in the living form. I decided to put us on a break and we had some light snack as I opened books with images and explained (this was before home computers and the internet that places visual and written knowledge at our finger tips).

I explained to Mary why she had been gifted one of the most beautiful and natural alluring forms (body) that could be, hers was the image of fertility across the history f human kind. Showing her photographs of small fetish like votive sculpture from the Neolithic era, and the time of Neanderthals was illuminating for her. Then more modern works like the woman of one thousand breasts and what and how it figured into ideas of the female universal form and the drive toward desire.

Apparently, here was a lovely, no beautiful woman being 'educated' at a university and no were was anyone helping her to understand her worth as an empowered human just because she had been gifted with an incredible body as form. So much for higher education. I watched her light up, she saw the incredible beauty that she had and was in a social context. She told me that she had never 'seen' herself like that before, had always though that she was just a fat girl. I could not help it, I agreed with her, I said directly to her that of course she was FAT, huge in fact, that was her body and to think that her mother had the good sense to name her the Roman Catholic name of Mary , what better name for the universal female as a Hispanic in the Catholic culture. Then I told her that she had that reputation among the university students as a vary sexual undergraduate woman, and how could it be otherwise as she was the personification of the earth mother goddess. She was in fact visually a living fetish. Mary loved it all, she found her comfortable niche.

After that we went back to work and I made this image as an homage to Mary, Earth Mother Goddess and fetish.
My experience was Mary from the school of business... (show quote)

Damn Tim, she in nice, NOT FAT, this is a stupid thing girls bought into like men think they need to have a big dick. It was good that you encouraged her to be herself and be comfortable with herself.
Well that is my nickel for the day.

I've noticed that there has been a reduction in activity on the forums in general and some reduction in the nude forum especially. Who knows the why and ware fore of this but I have observed that in the nude forum there appears to be a particular occurrence. Most of the posts are, shale I say, rather pedestrian in there presentation. The majority are like most of what one finds on the now Model Mayhem profiles. Loads of technically correct and most are the usual cookie cutter versions of work produced from twenty or even thirty years ago.

Have any of these workers looked at images by that photon siren Bettie Page. I'm not speaking to the catatonic works by Bunny Yeager (large yawn). I'm speaking to the men (and women) of the main stay of photographic history in this county The Camera Club. What at the turn of the century was a movement called Pictorialism and their opposition, the West Coast School championed by the F64 Group. The quagmire of our demise is to not understand the history that was of our past and, the NOW of modern nude photography (I choose the term 'nude' to avoid the stigma of terms like 'figure' photography).

If you like and know your history of photography, and history of industrialization that of the cottage industry and the infamous Luddites***. That of the craft industry, the oppositional place between high art and hobbyist, crafts. In his ground braking original thinking and incorporated into his own perspective of what is art, Duchamp confronts the issue and resolves to dismiss all notions that there exists separate categories for high art and craft arts. His Apollinaire Enameled is an excellent example of this strategy.

This then helps to dismiss the notions of their being a high and low position for the nude in our art. It is all the same and must be viewed for it's own value by content and intent. This brings one to the place where 'girls on parade' is not automatically removed from a category we can regard as admirable. What it does do is to direct one to regard the validity of an image as having something of value beyond a female person with out clothes.
