For me, definitely one of the color photos and I like #1 a tiny bit better.
Thank you Joehel2
Another thumbs up for the hood in color. :)

Much, Much prefer the color with hood. The other one looks like he is taking a selfie with out stretched arm. Also, in my opinion I would also edit out the bruise or whatever on his forehead.
Thank you Hj,
Looks like the hood is getting more attention, and thank you for commenting the bruise. I shall take a quick go in LR to remove it.
Best of luck and Merry Christmas

In my judgement, b&w images have limited visual appeal ... of all the images, the very first one looks best.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and the New Year

Thank you Lloyd, If I should pick a colored one that's the one for me also.

The child looks worried in the first two and is far too pale in the fourth. . I asked my wife, and her response was "Oh good Lord not the third.
The fourth is quite good.
Got it, my friends saw Fester, and they were not exactly wrong :D
Thank you
Hi ,
In short, I would like to make a gift for my friend and print out one of the photos I took this year.
I am struggling to go for full color or b&w. After going the round with friends to see what works best, I am more confused.
So I am hoping I can soon decide and therefore I'm asking for your opinion as well.
I like both pictures, just not sure what would work best for a A2-size print. To begin with, I was set to use the last picture in b&w. A couple of friends of mine had too much fun and planted the image of " uncle Fester" (Adams Family) in my head and now I cant get it out. Before they commented, for me this one was a winner , cause I like his big eyes looking straight at me, lips gesture that resembles something like he has a thing or two to tell me. Overall I like his bossy attitude, and after my opinion this one would work best on the wall in b&w.
The first one is more of a "Boyz-in-da-hood" type. And like it a lot as well, but I feel it does not look as appealing as the other one on the wall.
Looking forward to hear your thoughts
in advance, thank you for viewing.
Cheers from Oslo

Beautiful set - Enjoy those pelicans a lot. Grate colors, details, sharpness .. and again I see Canon 5D IV. Those bodies have somehow impressed me a lot. It's like, I know what kind of detail I am to expect when opening full size.

Very nice
You've done as I wanted to do so, the only difference : You did it :D
Well done and thumbs up from me

Hi Rober,
Sorry to hear about the attack, and I really hope it all goes well.
One thing I know about those little cuties is that they are tougher then they look. The family and the home is going to be the best therapy.
Wish you the best and hope for a quick recovery.
I feel with you AzPicLady
For my self I came to the conclusion that I was not ment to take photos of this event everybody was jumping for.
Oslo has been totally cloudy and foggy, so the two good days were I was supposed to get out I had to skip. On Monday suddenly it cleared up, so I rushed. And maybe too much, cause I forgot my remote trigger and my spare battery. What did I end up with? a bloody close up moon like everybody else cause everything else I had in mind went down the drain.
Did not even bother to post my so called "supermoon".
So better luck for me and you in ...18 years if I still do this .

Hi John, and welcome
I don't have one, but I see how practical they can be.
The photos are just marvelous.

Wow , beautiful Hawk Imagemeister.
I so envy hawk/eagles pictures like this as I have difficulties to find one for me :)
There's going to be a party when I'll finally get a shot like this

I've commented pictures using this technique before, where I did not liked them, and suggested that in a different settings it would work good.
This is a good example where it works very good for me :)
Symmetrical, Easy to recognize the scene and beautiful panned and that pink jacket adds attention to the scene.

Beautiful birds and capture :)
Nothing to appologize for Kalina54
This is a superb capture, and , I can't see the noise you talk about

Mike,
If the new one has same CPU architecture, and chipset you can most like it just insert your old hard-drive and boot up your old windows.
This works good from Windows 7 and up. It should install drivers automatically or maybe just needs manual updates of drivers. Your windows will ask to activate again, but all apps and settings are there like before.
OR ,
You can just set up the new laptop, install your apps and have a fresh new windows installation. The first solution may backfire with not booting up, and of course you transfer all gibberish to new computer as well.
You can safely chose to transfer all your personal files and then reinstall all apps, or vice versa.
Good luck
EDIT: First suggestion implies you take out the new HD and insert the old one instead.
