I'm in for the D500, please let me know when you're ready to sell. I may would even send a holding deposit depending on info and price of the camera. Feel free to email me if you would like, pattonfotoz@gmail.com. Thanks! Dan

Hello Dan,

Thanks for the message! There is another member in UHH who indicated the interest and I already agreed to contact him first. I will get the reasonable price and details to both of you. If he takes, I would need to keep my words for him to get. In any case, I will try to be reasonable and fair. The main purpose is to find a home for my gears to land.

Thanks!

Richard

Iā€™m interested in the D500 when you are ready to sell it

Bob

Hello Bob,

Sure. The D500 is just sitting in the cabinet. This is just for backup in case my D850 has problem (I doubt it would). You will like the condition. It is fully protected (camera skin, screens with film cover) and also with Nikon brand battery grip. With this grip, you can use much larger battery (EN-EL 18a, b c).

Thanks!

I'm using a Sigma 150-600mm. The pixels are exactly what I'm referring to. Maybe a teleconverter to give me better reach?

All my gears are for bird photography. You may see what I have posted here in UHH. Before I bought D4S, D500, and D850. I used D800 for my bird photography. Because of crop concern, I had not used my D4S much and D500 even less after I had D850. There are other factors that need tp be considered, such as frame per second. D800 is not as fast as my other cameras, which is another factor that I put it in the climate control cabinet for quite long time.

I will sell my D500 immediately after receive Z9. My D500 is only for backup use purpose. The reason I have not used much is because of pixels.

Thanks!

Richard

Where in IN are you. I go through there once a month and may be interested but would want to pick it up myself. Nothing to do with you, everything to do with shipping these days. Thanks.

I live in Bloomington, IN.

The Nikon D800 has sit in the climate-controlled cabinet for quite long time after I bought Nikon D4S and then D500 and D850. I bought from B&H brand new and it is US model. All original box and accessories, manual. Except for strap, all assertories have not been used. The camera has been protected from day 1 with camera skin and film for screens. The camera is in virtually mint - almost like new condition. The shutter count is 26,418. The Vello battery grip works flawlessly and comes with the sale. In order to be fit with battery grip, the camera skin was cut at the bottom. If needed, the camera skin can also come with for free. Shipment via FedEx included to 48 continental states. Price: $685

I went to Monroe lake, Southern Indiana to try to find eagle and take photos of it in last weekend. During my searching eagle, suddenly I noticed a gray heron passing. Quickly I took a few photos of the gray heron. With combination of Nikon D850 + Nikkor 500PF, it is easy to aim it and take photos of it. Waiting for my new toy Z9šŸ˜€. Thanks in advance for your viewing and comment if any.

Great set of images!!!
The first four are super sharp!!!
The last not quite as sharp as the first four, but you can still see the detail in the feathers.

Thank you very much for your comment!

Took some photos of eagles at Turkey Run State Park last weekend and some eagle photos around Monroe Lake this weekend. It was cloud on last weekend and clear weather this weekend. So the light gray background photos were taken in Turkey Run and sky blue background photos were taken along Monroe Lake. Thanks for viewing in advance!

Nice eagles, Richard.

I haven't been to Turkey Run SP yet; I need to put it on my list.

Thanks, John!

My wife and I thought to go further rather than around Bloomington during the new year. We checked the state parks and Turkey Run came to be the #1 among the top ten list. The Turkey Run is really beyond our expectation. It has so many things to do. The trails are super, water, canyon, cliffs, etc. Quite a challenge in some parts of the trails.

We did not go there for eagles. This is totally a surprise. We even noticed an eagle on the way to the park (within 2 miles to the park). Have a fun when you visit there.

Thanks!
