This is what happens when a corrupt organization makes decisions based on cronyism and money.

Elliott, please post your source for $6 Canon ink. I think many of us Canonistas would benefit greatly.

I am frustrated along with you. We can print on 13x19 paper, but why should we be forced to waste the excess paper? What is so hard for Canon to update their software to include this very common size? Is this just a strategy for Canon to sell more expensive paper?

I have had very good experiences with buying a camera (5D Mk I I) and several lenses fron craigslist. Unlike eBay, I meet with the seller directly in a public place and try out the equipment for myself. The deals have been good, and I examine the item before buying.

I have visited the Canon service center twice in the last couple of months. They have a beautiful facility in Costa Mesa, Ca that is well worth visiting. They have displays of all their current products as well as a number of vintage units. They also have displays of wonderful dioramas. Each times the folks checked out my problems and fixed my problems on the spot. Their courtesy is outstanding. If you are in the O.C. Area you should visit.

Like everyone else, I have an all-in-one (epson) that I use for general use. I bought a Canon pro 100 off craigslist for $70.00 that came with extra ink and a boatload of Canon paper. Such a deal! The 100 is doing a wonderful job, and the wireless feature helps get rid of a long usb cable to my computer.

I reccomend staying at the hotel in the park. Each room has a terrace view of the valley. The desk had a sheet listing native guides. I picked a photo tour and it was just me and the guide. He took me to many spots that dwere available only with a guide. I scheduled in the afternoon and got some great shots with the late afternoon light. I used my 24-105 lens, and it served me well.

Yes, my Pro 9000 Mark II has a rear feed. Although, I have never used the rear feed.
I have a pixma pro 9000 mkll, and have never been able to use the front feed. I've seen tutorials on utube, lifted the paper feed section in the front, but the paper will not feed. Can you give me some guidance?

The crest on the 2nd document was developed in 1883 Russa. Look up Tzar Alexander lll in wikipedia. 1883 was the year he came to the throne. You wii see that he and predicessors held titles from several scandinavian countries, and his family history is northern Germany based. You may recall that at the time, most of the crowned heads of europe were related , with German ancestory. Wikipedia also has an article showing the development of the russian coat of arms.
This all fits with german words, the coat of arms and the stamp.
