Are there ever workshops on editing software. eg. Photoshop. I am not of the "computer literate" generation (I'm old), but I am not stupid and have the perseverance and patients of Job. If I could go somewhere for a 2-3 day workshop, it would be a great jumpstart for me. I have searched on the internet and can't seem to find anything. Am I alone in the endeavor? I live in South Dakota, so I assume anything is a good distance away. Appreciate any help.
That is what life is about. Great shots.
Keep em' at bay. Defend your property. Or, since this is the era of building walls, build a 12 foot wall around it. maren
Thanks for that information. I never thought about that, but that makes perfect sense. I will leave the PRCA to the pro-photographers. We have some great jack-pot ropings, 4-H rodeos, and high school rodeo contestants that compete less than a mile from me. To capture that figure 8 head catch for a young roper is priceless. (especially to the moms and dads) Hopefully I can do that with my new D500. I may even make a little money for a cheeseburger and mountain dew at those events. Life don't get any better than that. I am so grateful for all of the information I have gotten from the members of this forum. Thanks for your advice. There is no better advice than when it comes from experience.
I have pinched pennies for 40 years, and now that I can do what I want, I want to do it and get great results. Budget? -----NAW!
I have been reading all your posts about the various topics and finally decided to ask for help for myself. I just retired after 40 years of being a Medical Technologist. I bought my Nikon D 80 in 2006. It has given me 10 + years of wonderful pictures and enjoyment. I am ready to move up to a better camera. I will buy nothing but a Nikon. I love to capture wildlife, rodeo shots, sunsets, and shooting that perfect bald eagle shot is on my bucket list. Seems like I am always running into low-light issues also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Maren
