I can't find that on the container. I will look on a retailer's site.

SOLD - - I bought this filter because I enjoy seeing infrared photography. I didn't know that my camera had to be equipped with an infrared sensor and/or other modifications. Well, I took 5 photos outdoors and realized quickly that the filter did not do what I thought it would. It's yours for $20 (Paypal or money order) and $3.20 shipping to USA only. Let me know if you have any questions.

A friend of mine sent me this new tax form. Very true.

This does not apply to the "super" rich. Loopholes negate that form.

Never really thought about it before but have you noticed how bees harvesting different flowers gather different coloured pollen...notice the big difference with these two bees...I imagine this is the reason we get different coloured honey... :?:

Great shots, Ron. What lens did you use, please?

With the current $100 rebate ($1399 after) and the 6 year warranty, I am afraid I would have to recommend the Tamron over that first generation Nikon.

I concur, however, I think the rebate on that Tamron model is $200.

According to dxomark, the best lens is the Carl Zeiss Distagon T* Otus 1.4/55 ZF.2 Nikon (score 50). But the next best is the 85mm version, so I would recommend that as being in your desired range (focal length, not price).

That was not Jules' question, JC.

Do you use a screen protector on your camera??
If so what one do you use?? And why was that your choice??
Is one really needed, or is it just something else to spend money on??? :-) I try to be as careful with the back of my camera as I am with the front "and the sides for that matter" as to not cause any damage, and yes I do have protection on my lenses.....Tom

I have used the stick on glass LCD on all of my cameras that are DSLR. That is an expensive LCD screen, if you don't have protection.

The weather is so warm and wonderful here in the Northern Rockies today, I wanted to post something summery...

These pictures were taken a couple of years ago with a Nikon Coolpix P310.

I like the locomotive the best, CathyAnn. Thanks for sharing!
