I have my eyes on a BenQ 32in. 2K curved monitor. It has a 144 hz refresh rate, a 4 msec response time, and it covers 90% DCI P3 so it will be fantastic for my level of gaming (non-competitive). It is a VA monitor so I am worried about its photography capabilities as it relates to color. I don't necessarily need accurate colors as I don't print photos but I don't want totally unrealistic colors either.
I have researched this extensively but I need someone's opinion who has used both IPS and VA monitors for Lightroom, Photoshop, etc. Being that I don't print photos, will the VA monitor be an issue for photo editing for someone who is an avid photo enthusiast?
I went out to Best Buy to look at both monitors but I could not do a head-to-head comparison looking at identical photos side by side.
If my D500 keeps working, it probably will be the last camera I ever buy. I love it, enjoy yours!!
I love the dandelion and the background. It's a shame that the lightest part of the dandelion is the lower 2/3rds of the stem. My eye was drawn right to that and then led off the bottom of the frame (away from the flowering part). I'm sure that can be fixed in post if desired but it is your image, not mine, and it is captivating as is.
I would be interested in the 18-300. PM me with a price if an option.
I assume the N or C refers to Nikon or Canon. They have different mounts so I don't understand that. Which body does the lens fit??
It looks like a selection was made of the birdhouse so maybe number 5 is using Photoshop.
It is an excellent lens. Sharp all the way to the corners (I use it on a D500 so I am not using all of it). It is a heavy lens as compared to Nikon's 70-200 but I haven't had problems hand holding it or carrying it around.
I just tried using the Android like a Cintiq in Lightroom and it did work. I am used to a tablet so I will stick with that but if for some reason I would like to draw right on the screen, it does work!!!!
I find it very useful to have that second monitor. I can just pull a program over to the Android monitor. I have not used it yet with photoshop or lightroom but anytime I need two programs running at once, I can put one on the Android.
