Grew up in Detroit & lived there for 40 years. Many beautiful neighborhoods. Indian Village one of the nicest. Still miss Detroit.
Nice photos of an area of a much maligned city that is on the way back.
I see very little political chit chat. If the section were deleted I would miss Graham's and others jokes, cartoons, musical insight & unphotograpic insight & wisdom. Keep it and keep on posting!
You 'lit' up my morning. Not sure I ever had one but sure went thru a lot of balloons. It was really cool if you had those plastic strips hanging from the ends of your handlebars.
Wonderful! Nice to see square without throngs of tourists.
I've never understood it. Prior to getting pre check I got it both ways.
Only advice I can give is that if you fly a lot, especially for business, it's better to be safe and on time.
Another thing to consider is applying for Global Entry if you travel internationally. It simplifies the process for entry back to the States. Costs $100 and also gives you Pre Check.
Grew up in Dearborn but have lived in Cincinnati for 36 years. My buds have told me how great it is. On my hit list. Gearheads can check out the Detroit Free Press the next couple days or Google it for more amazing pics.
NY Times, Washington Post, Detroit Free Press, Cincinnati Enquirer & Daily Mail. For TV - CBS, NBC and MSNBC. Occassionally Fox but only about 5minutes at a time.
Heard this years ago while in a church choir in Dearborn, Michigan.
Still love it. Thanks for the mammary!
Glad you made it back OK. I was mos 84c20 but was lucky & got sent to Germany in 1967.
Would love to share a pint with Graham.
There are similarities when going through check out lines.
Good stuff. Brings back memories of my introduction to jazz as a teen in the late 50's.
