There is a spot along Hwy 2 going thru the canyon from Columbia Falls to Hungry Horse Mt where the water falls over the rocks right by the road. Someone (they have been doing this for years) adds food coloring to the upper portion and as the water freezes it looks very colorful.
I think it looks pretty amazing and it changes as the weather changes.

LOL....yes it is plowed, they are logging up that road....that's the only reason we were able to drive up that area....normally it is only snowmobiles that can go up there.

Thanks and no cell service for miles and miles up that way. I have an emergency beacon that we carry .... it will send a message to 911 with our gps coordinates if we ever find ourselves in a bad situation.
